Hotel Alda Triacastela

Hotel Alda Tricastela, as it currently called, enjoys an excellent location at the end of the small village of Tricastela, right where the Camino de Santiago de Compostela splits between the Samos and San Xil paths. The room was small but very well and efficiently designed, so that enough comfortable space was available for the guests and luggages; the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small as well and we had some minor issues with cleanness, moreover the shower was leaking. Service was very friendly and efficient, even though the reception is open only until 4 pm and after only automated check-in is available. The hotel does not have a restaurant but serves an excellent buffet breakfast. Highly recommended, without the bathroom issues it would have been a full 5-star ranking!

Beautiful rooms in this hotel. No complaints about the rooms, beds, spaciousness, location or the cleanliness. Actually stunning in my opinion. However, we had just finished walking 32 kms on the Camino Trail, We arrived later, just after 9 pm. We had to be taxied from O Cebreiro as there was no rooms available there. (We were booked already at Iberik) The hotel clerk was having a smoke outside and said the hotel is closed and we were too late!! Thankfully, our taxi driver argued with him and insisted he let us check in. After about 10 minutes he relented, He was quite rude to us and tried to check us into one room, we had three reserved! He finally gave in and gave us two rooms. He told us all restaurants were now closed too. So we dropped our bags into the rooms and headed out thinking we will find something open! Sure did, most restaurants were open in the small village. And the desk clerk was sitting in there having dinner!! So he knew what was open in town but decided to lie to us. Anyway I contacted Camino Ways, whom we booked with, and I was given a refund for the two nights for one room. I want to note too, the the lady taking care of the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic . She is an extremely hard worker and even kept breakfast going a bit longer that next morning!! It was a wonderful breakfast buffet.

Personal excelente. En la recepcion Ivan, una persona que nos ha facilitado todo siempre con una sonrisa. El hotel muy nuevo y limpio. Muy recomendable, estupendo lugar para los que hacemos el camino dr Santiago. Los alrededores del hotel muy bonitos, con lavandera, farmacia, cajero y restaurantes muy cerca.

Muy limpio, bonito y acogedor. Tal vez en la recepción pudiese haber algo más de atención y con una sonrisa pero en todo caso, la habitación amplia y acogedora. La bañera en el baño se ve ya un poco fuera de sitio ( pequeña para ser una bañera ) aún así, repetiría

Extraordinaria atención, hotel muy bien en instalaciones y atención maravillosa. Nos ha encantado situación del hotel siendo un grupo de 30 personas. Desayuno muy bien atendido. Las habitaciones muy bien acondicionadas en todo.

Estupendo en decoración de las habitaciones. Muy muy muy limpio. Desayuno magnífico, con fruta de muchas clases, huevos, bacon, jamón...de todo Y por supuesto hay que destacar la amabilidad y paciencia del personal. Fuimos un grupo de 30 personas y el trato fue excelente
