Beautiful Hill Country retreat in Dripping Springs

This Hill Country getaway is a single-story home that has a Spanish vibe. With over 1,700 sf, 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms, we comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests. This is a great location if you are attending a wedding at one of the many venues surrounding Dripping Springs! We are centrally located to multiple breweries and wineries, and just a short drive to historic Dripping Springs, Hamilton Pool, and Bee Cave Galleria. Only 35 minutes from downtown Austin and ACL/SXSW music festivals! You have full and private access to the entire house, including courtyard and garage. We will provide a custom code for the front door which expires upon check-out. There is parking for up to four vehicles in the driveway, if needed. We do NOT provide a garage door opener, but you may open the garage door from inside the house and park one vehicle in the garage. You'll also have use of the private neighborhood lake just a short walk or quick drive from the house; access code can be sent upon request. Our neighborhood is car dependent and the house is on an unpaved road. It is still easily accessible in any vehicle - you do NOT need 4-wheel drive or a car that sits up higher. If you obey the speed limit, you shouldn't have any trouble navigating the street. The street is not well marked and is very easy to miss. There is a row of mailboxes on the left, across from the turn, and the house on the right corner has an address number on a piece of stone leaned against a large tree. You are bound to see our wildlife neighbors at some point during your visit, hence the neighborhood moniker Deer Creek Ranch! Please obey speed limit signs and be extra cautious around blind curves and backing out of the driveway. They are most active at dawn and dusk, but please be aware and watch for them at all times of the day, especially during fawning season from early spring and into summer. They often graze right in our front yard! We ask that you not try to touch them or feed them, but please enjoy their presence. They are a joy to sit and watch! Our home is in a rural area. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests, including insects and mice, this is a reality of our location. Our home may not be a fit for those who have phobias of insects or wildlife.
