Stayed here for two nights to sight see the area. We were in room 307 and it was SMALL. We asked to move to a bigger room but they were sold out. The young man at the desk was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was your standard Fairfield fare, but the breakfast attendant was really pleasant with a smile and good morning everyday! Lots of food and shopping nearby.

Our room was great, new, clean and spacious. What really made our stay was Gigi from the front desk and Karm from the food service. These two employees were so personable and helpful, sharing info and tips about the area and places to visit. It’s not often that the employees of a hotel take the time and initiative to make recommendations for the guest and really make them feel welcome.

The Traverse City Fairfield Inn recently moved from their old location to a brand new location/building next to the Tru by Hilton. Many if not most of the reviews here are about the old more rundown property. The new building is much nicer as it meets the newer brand standards.

Horrible place to go with a family! They will charge $250 if your kids make a mess! These people are pathetic! Been a Bon Voy member for a long time and never seen this type of disrespect. Hillbilly vibe! Never again. Stay next door at Hilton tru much better professionalism.
