Hello, I'm Roger and my wife is Michelle. We both welcome you to our cozy little home away from home. Our house is a 2-story house with all bedrooms and full baths on the second floor. It is located approximately 3 miles from shopping at the lovely downtown Brevard. You can drive or for the cycling enthusiasts, the bike path to town is about a 1/4 mile from the house. This features a nice little stroll through places not viewable from the main highways also on the bike path, where you can access the Pisgah national forest. The Forest is a short ride, and on this ride, you'll pass by ECUSTA BREWERY one of our many local breweries with local made beer and delicious food. We are also located within 1 mile of the entrance to Camp Carolina. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, laundry area, cozy back yard with a flowing stream and fire pit area to enjoy the sounds of the water trickling over the rocks for an evening of relaxation!! For all bike enthusiasts we also have shed in the rear of the house with a sidewalk leading to it to lock up your bikes. Also, for the convenience of our guests, we have chosen to keep the rental rate at 1 price 7 days a week!!! No need to book your stay based on price changes for weekends and holidays. The house is a cozy 2 bedroom with queen beds and mountain decor. Recently renovated and the perfect place to relax. Very private area at the end of a dead-end road and a privacy fence which gives you just that, privacy (great for dogs too)! Enjoy beautiful mornings reading a book in our hammock on the front porch or take advantage of great star gazing next to a fire at night in the back yard. Plenty of natural light and all the amenities you need plus some!Prime Location:From the house there is a trail that allows walking/biking access to Pisgah Forest one direction and access to Breweries/Restaurants the other directions. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Brevard, 15-minute drive to Dupont Forest, and a 1-2 minute drive to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest (or walk there within 10 mins via Greenway). Cozy place for a family or group looking to explore Brevard or the forest. Great for bikers!We have 4 locations that are walkable from the house for Food. The Pisgah Bake House, Corkys, Ecusta Brewery/Gordingos, and Oscar Blues Brewery. Oscar Blues is a little longer walk than the others and the first 3 are with 3 mins of the house. Being the last house at the end of a dead end road, backing up to woods and a creek, you get a sense of privacy being nestled into the woods but yet so close to town. This rustic and sophisticated cabin is nestled on a mountainside near the French Broad River. It is located on nine private acres secluded from the Partridge Hill main house where the owners live. Partridge Hill was once owned by the author Hamilton Basso who was a close friend of Thomas Wolfe. Wolfe and Basso spent many hours on Partridge Hill and would love the inviting ambience of the cabin known as The Partridge Nest. The cabin features two queen-sized bedrooms and two full baths with an additional sleeping area in the cozy writers loft. Amenities include a beautiful and well-stocked kitchen, dining area, wood-burning fireplace, and a full screened porch with a mountain view. The interior design is comfortable, inviting, and mountain inspired.An ideal get-away spot, the cabin is secluded yet only four miles from Brevard where there are fine restaurants, the Brevard Music Center, Brevard College, and many great shops. The Pisgah NationalForest is just minutes away from your front door and offers some of the finest hiking, rock climbing, and fly fishing in the East. Majestic waterfalls are all around the area as well. The Brevard Music Center is renowned nationwide for it's summer musical presentations and it's students typically go on to major careers in music.
