Uferdeck - Boutique Hotel

We traveled by car from Trier to Konlenz. This was our 3rd stay. By far the best. It is outside town but the facility and view was the best!

Wonderful hidden gem. A relaxing weekend in a spotless hotel with wonderful non intrusive staff. Food is incredible. Tbf my wife didn’t care too much for German cuisine but Loved the homemade bread and jam. Excellent selection and always fresh. People are paying a fortune for this level of care in holiday hotspots. Don’t miss this opportunity guys. A fabulous relaxing weekend awaiting. Top tip pay the extra for balcony overlooking the mosel. You won’t regret it

On the positive side, the hotel boasts a modern and inviting ambiance, as it underwent renovations in spring 2023. The newly renovated room I stayed in was clean and functional, featuring quality furnishings and a seating area with armchairs. The 180x200cm double bed provided a good night's sleep. We payed 160 euro per night for two, including a fabulous breakfast. The hotel's location by the Mosel River offers picturesque views and opportunities for leisurely walks along the riverbank. Additionally, the proximity to vineyards adds charm to the setting. The hosts, Sonja Rothkopf & Ralf Fischer, were welcoming and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the stay. Areas for Improvement However, there were also some smaller drawbacks during my visit. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, lacked any notable decorations like a painting or a photo on the wall, giving them a rather basic appearance. Additionally, there were no in-room amenities like a fridge or coffee machine. Furthermore, the room lacked air conditioning, which made sleeping uncomfortable during our rather warm July stay. It's worth noting that this might be common for the region, but it can still be a consideration for guests visiting in the summer. Another point of concern was the cost of food in the hotel's restaurant, which was comparatively expensive compared to other dining options in the Mosel region. The same applies to the wines offered, with prices higher than usual. Lastly, the hotel's idyllic riverfront location also means that guests need to rely on a car to reach the city center and explore nearby attractions. Modern hotel The hotel was a nice surprise. It’s newly renovated with simple but functional and modern furniture. Our room was spacious and had an amazing view of the Mosel river. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant and although we did not eat there, the Spanish buffet they offered on that evening looked amazing. Their breakfast was very good too.

Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel direkt an der Mosel. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bequeme Betten und genügend Abstellmöglichkeiten im Bad. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist fantastisch, Pancakes, Eierspeisen, frische kleine Salat, viel Obst unterschiedliche Brot und Brötchensorten, Kuchen, man kann gar nicht alles aufzählen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundich und zuvorkommend. Das ganze Team ist super, man fühlt sich dort sehr willkommen. Die große Terrasse mit Blick auf die Mosel lädt zum verweilen und Essen ein.

Top Hotel mit super Lage direkt an der Mosel, Sehr freundliche Bedienungen, die unsere Wünsche sofort umgesetzt haben. Kulinarischer Hochgenuss zu allen Mahlzeiten. Perfektes Team. Hochwertige Aussattung lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen 2025 zum dritten Mal wieder.
