Hotel Eter

This is a superb hotel. While slightly off the beaten track (about a 10-minute walk from the main square in the Old Town), it impressed in every way. Friendly reception, comfortable rooms, well decorated throughout, and a sumptious breakfast. I didn't try the restaurant (which looked pretty good, and was nearly full), as I fancied a walk after a long car journey. Would happily revisit.

Beautiful location in old town close to all attractions. Staff all obliging especially lovely lady on desk . Bar man also . The room is bright well furnished. Little things like shoe horns hooks in right places huge shower that doesn’t leak and perfect temperature. Lighting superb all little things that you often don’t get . I travel to Poland often and will return here. Breakfast imaginative and satisfying.

This is an excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable. Top notch. Friendly, professional staff and with a smile. I highly recommend it. Close, walk distance tow erywhere, but on a side enough to be very quiet at night! Nice beds. Way too big breakfast. Thank you, we will be back!

Hotel Eter was a totally hidden gem of an accommodation located adjacent to the medieval town. Admittedly, we spent a bit more for one of their better rooms, but it was a very good decision. Our room was large with a nice bathroom, very private and modern. If there was a downside, then it was that there was no elevator access like in other parts of the hotel. The optional breakfast buffet for an additional charge was excellent. Service throughout the hotel from front desk to food service was always exceptional. We would return to Hotel Eter in a heartbeat, have dinner in their restaurant and even request the more expensive room again.

Hotel Eter looks and feels relatively new. The interior design and decor is beautiful. So much better than a chain hotel. Designers took an old building and adapted it to a boutique hotel with spacious and well-appointed rooms, a small sauna with two high-end massage chairs, a bar, and restaurant. There are also meeting rooms in the cellar underneath the restaurant. The location is a short walk from the historic city centre of Torun and all the tourist sights. With that said, there were some issues: 1) Some of the hotel information is either not translated into English or not properly translated. For example, the sauna is translated into relaxing room. I had no idea there was a sauna. 2) No porter or bellman to assist with luggage. 3) Wine list in the restaurant is extensive, but I was surprised they didn't offer some Polish wine. 4) Breakfast starts a little late (7 am) on weekdays. 5) My room (called a "comfort classic") had a single bed that was actually two twin-sized mattresses pushed together with one large sheet over both mattresses. When trying to sleep, the mattresses would separate forming a small gap. 6) No USB outlets anywhere in the room. I could only find two accessible electrical outlets to charge my devices. The hotel should install a power ***** in the room for USB devices. 7) TV doesn't get CNN. 8) No bar of soap or lotion was provided in the bathroom. There was a half-empty dispenser with liquid hand wash and additional dispensers in the walk-in shower with shampoo and conditioner. 9) There were some stains on the side of the toilet. 10) There is some kind of sensor in the room that turns off lights and TV when you leave the room. This is annoying. Likewise, the hallways have motion sensor-activated lights, meaning sometimes the hallway is dark when you are walking. This is annoying. 11) Instead of a regular swipe keycard system, the hotel has a keycard with a physical sensor fob attached to it. The key has the room printed on it, which is a safety issue if you lose the key. I was very surprised not to have a regular swipe keycard system. These are all relatively minor issues that could be corrected easily. All things considered, I would return. Hotel Eter is highly recommended.

Boutique Hotel new and very clean. The Staff is very nice and absolutely helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and confortable. In addition to the classic services offered, SAUNA and Restaurant with some good Italian dishes must be tried. I suggest Hotel Eter to visit Torun but also for business trip .
