算是澀谷1公里內相對便宜的酒店了，但需要出澀谷站後過個馬路然後一直上坡走400米，拐彎掉頭過天橋，爬樓梯進酒店，有行李較多的略尷尬，酒店整體有暗黑女團風。

I wish I have read this review before booking. Location: even though it is close to Shibuya Station, it is at the end of the hill that goes up from the station. Moreover, the hotel is across the road, which you have to cross through an elevated walkway. If you are bringing a luggage or more than one, keep this is mind. Hotel: before booking iI thought it would be fun to stay in a sort of thematic hotel, but it is not fun. It really feels like you are staying at a grandma’s room. The hotel has a ridiculous rule of not allowing the entrance to visitors; even when my friend just wanted to use the bathroom they didn’t allow the entrance. They also do not have a guest toilet so we had to leave. Moreover, every time you leave the hotel you have to leave the key at the front desk and when you go back, you pick it up again. It feels like they just want to control who enters; feels like high school dormitory. Room was dirty, i even found a contact lenses on the bed frame. The bathroom has mold in the toilet. Even public toilet looks cleaner. The pillow is super thin and uncomfortable. The hotel is really not recommended.

The service in hotel is excellent. The counter clerks are always very polite and help me to call the taxi. Hotel is clean, I also love the free coffee they serve in the morning!

Nicely distanced from the noise of traffic and trains, and a 5 minute walk from the start of busy Shibuya, this hotel is a good location. The hotel lobby is representative of the hotel; kitsch and full of chintzy decor. A real touch of 70’s nostalgia but clean and efficient. Checking in was simple and extra additions for your stay were offered and freely available. In keeping with the decor the rooms are opened with keys which you hand in when leaving and collect upon return. The room was fine, a little small, but this is the norm in a busy city and at a fair price. Everything needed was in the room, my only disappointment was the pillows- one small cushion shaped pillow only. A great stay if you’re using the hotel as a base, and a lovely cafe/restaurant attached.

The place is near Shibuya Crossing. The staff are very welcoming. Room is okay. Only downside is that you might do slight hiking to reach the place - might be challenging when you have luggages with you. But overall, its a good place.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY LUGGAGE UPSTAIRS. Before my trip, I read comments mentioning that you have to carry your luggage upstairs, which concerned me. However, after exploring the nearby area during my stay, I discovered that's not true! There's a pedestrian crossing beneath the highway that many people overlook. After exiting the railway station via elevator number 31, head east, and you'll find the underpass pedestrian crossing (it's opposite the FamilyMart). I highly recommend using this route for check-in and check-out. The slope is a bit longer this way, but you won't need to lug heavy luggage upstairs. Speaking of the slope, I was worried about it beforehand too. But it's not steep, and there's a shopping mall connected to the railway station (the Shibuya Hikarie), so you don't have to start climbing from ground level. Hope this helps! Now, onto the downsides of this hotel. 1. The room is dark. It looks stylish in photos, but it's so dim that organizing your luggage becomes difficult and inconvenient. 2. Location-wise, it's completely subjective and depends on your itinerary, it may not be as convenient as you expect. Yes, it's near Shibuya Station, but on the east side. Most popular spots in Shibuya aren't right by the station; they're to the north. If you're staying in Shibuya because you plan to visit those areas MULTIPLE TIMES, I suggest checking the walking distances carefully. You might be better off choosing a hotel closer to your key destinations. I picked this hotel because it offered the cheapest single room option (excluding capsule hotel). If you're not a solo traveler like me, though, I don't think the price is that competitive when calculated per person. That said, if you're just looking for any decent hotel near a major JR station, this one is fine.
