I stayed at Hotel Brasilia the night of October 25, 2022. I paid 1,050 pesos for a room on the fifth floor with a single bed. This converted to 53.02 USD when I paid with my debit card. This included a buffet breakfast. Positives: Close to several bus stations. The room was clean, quiet, and safe. There was no air conditioning, but it was comfortable until late morning when the sun began to heat the room. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Negatives: There is wifi, but the signal was weak and inconsistent in the room I was in. It was better in the restaurant. I would have liked to be able to open a window a little more to let in some fresh air. I understand safety concerns, but I also like good air circulation while I sleep.

Not the perfect scenario but my flight landed into Mexico City at 1.20 am. I arrived at my original hotel that was having technical issues their PMS system was down so they could not check people in or out. They recommended this hotel for being safe and nice rooms. I arrived at the hotel and the doorman/bellman was perfect. But upon trying to check in the night auditor Juan would not allow me to check-in for a reservation I just made online 5 minutes before I approached the front desk so I could check-in. He advised to come back at 3pm. There was no solution provided to offer to check me in a day early. No offer of checking in early is an additional fee. No option of lets change your reservation the third party. He was kind of rude about it. I also had to ask for my passport back once he refused check-in. Service is obviously questionable in the overnight staff. Juan did not apologize or offer to call a taxi after he refused service. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone that is paying for their room. And then did not offer a refund or any compensation.

Dovrebbe esserci una persona al lobby che possa parlare inglese. Per questo dobbiamo usare il traduttore e abbiamo sempre problemi a causa di questo. La stanza è pulita e bello, tranne il rumore del traffico. La gente è così gentile. Il problema è che non possiamo spiegare i nostri problemi in qualsiasi momento.

Purtroppo non mi fermo all'hotel, ma andrò ogni mattina al ristorante dell'hotel per colazione e per il latte di ghiaccio in pomeriggio. Il personale è sorprendente! Amichevole, gentile, attento! Il succo verde è fresco e delizioso, il cappuccino è grande, proprio come il latte di ghiaccio. Ho avuto un toast di avvocato con uova di colazione, che era perfettamente preparato, ho avuto alcuni frutti freschi prima. Veramente sano e delizioso per un prezzo davvero buono. Il ristorante è bello e ha una bella vibrazione! I go also the the hotel’s gym every day which is very well equipped and clean, has a lot of space and types to free weights, cardio and weight machines to use.

Ho appena toccato il terremoto di 7/09/21 Quando sono in questo hotel, ciascuno dei suoi dipendenti ha mostrato un vero e proprio cura per i suoi ospiti, da ragazze in crisi nervosa, supporti per richieste di qualsiasi tipo e logistica. Ringrazio in particolare Alexia e Eduardo per la manutenzione che si sono avvicinati a sostenermi con materiale per un torcedura. Poi mi hanno continuato a pendere e mi sono reso conto di come facevano parte il loro medo di dare calore, professionalità e empatia a ciascuno degli ospiti. Mi dispiace non sapere il nome di loro, ma sono riconosciuti dal loro servizio.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di ospitarmi in questo hotel in diverse occasioni, e non mi decepisco mai.E' pulito, camere confortevoli, letto delizioso, vista, cibo, anche se può sembrare un po' costoso, È delizioso e abbondante, quindi vale la pena quello che si paga, ma soprattutto l'attenzione di tutti è eccezionale. Molte felicitazioni e continuano a mantenere l'attenzione che ci fa volere tornare sempre!

I don’t typically leave reviews but our stay at the Kimpton Virgilio was exceptional. The staff, the room, the restaurant were all amazing. It was super convenient for us to leave our bags there beforehand and afterwards, which was great while we explored the city. We also were running the Mexico City Marathon and they were extremely helpful with providing us advice on getting there at 5am in the morning. I would like to call out Rodrigo, the front desk who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. If you’re staying in Mexico City, I could not recommend the Kimpton more.

Stayed 7 nights with my partner at this wonderful hotel, which is centrally located (10 minute walk to the main Zocalo square with lots of shopping nearby) and has a very good bar/restaurant on-site. The rooms are new with firm beds, thick towels and linens, a hot shower, daily maid service, a medium-sized safe that can hold a tablet, good climate control, and a Nespresso coffee machine. A filtered water dispenser to refill water bottles is quite the advantage in the lobby. The gym on the 2nd floor is modern with very usable equipment, and is located next to an outdoor terrace. The breakfast buffet was very good with several choices. Antonio and Nayla provided excellent customer service during breakfast, and Antonio also alerted me to breakfast options that were healthier for my sensitive stomach. The lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I rate this hotel an 8 or 9 out of 10 and would definitely stay here again. That being said, I would like to offer some suggestions to Novotel to make the hotel room a bit better for travelers. This new, minimal hotel room concept means that there are no dresser drawers for storing clothing, and there’s only one spot in the hanging metal “closet” for storing one suitcase - the other person must put their suitcase on the floor . One must live out of their suitcase during the entire stay, which is very annoying. This can easily be remedied by having more hangers (10 instead of 5?) in the closet, and having one or two folding luggage racks available. Also, another side table is needed beside the bed, since there’s only one. The person sleeping on the left side of the bed must put their water, glasses, phone, etc. on the floor, since there’s no side table, or place their items far away on the desk. Also, the thick towels keep falling off the three very lame wooden towel “knobs”. These knobs need to be replaced or extended outward in order to be able to hold a load. I would hang up my wet towel and it would immediately fall onto the floor. We fought with this the entire week. The hotel would save a lot of money by not having to wash towels every day that have fallen onto the floor. Additionally, perhaps for an upcharge, a small refrigerator could be placed in the room. These minor issues did not affect our overall satisfaction of this hotel.
