Fantastico

I recently stayed at Hotel Palma in Tivat, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered stunning views of the bay, which made waking up each morning a delight. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, especially the dining options. The restaurant served delicious, locally inspired dishes that left a lasting impression. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, providing a perfect start to each day. However, one minor issue was that the hammam was not fully functional during my stay. While this didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to a relaxing session. Despite this, the rest of the wellness facilities were excellent, and the staff did their best to accommodate my needs. Overall, Hotel Palma in Tivat is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy luxury, comfort, and excellent service. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

A lovely hotel which is only about 15 minutes from the airport. The staff were brilliant, always helpful and smiling. The hotel was spotlessly clean with staff constantly cleaning and checking. Our room had a small balcony which looked out over the sea with various superyatchs moored in the bay and small local boats going about their business. The weather was absolutely lovely, although a little on the hot side so the aircon was used extensively during our week and it was perfect. The only aspect we felt needed improvement was the food, we had booked half board, but decided that we would eat out a couple of times, although we did eat in the a la carte restaurant in the hotel two evenings which was much better and we really enjoyed the food. We would certainly stay here again, but probably book B&B instead.

The hotel and location is beautiful. Hotel is immaculate and the staff are super lovely. The views are magnificent and breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this hotel and location. The harbour is on another level. I'd recommend hiring a boat for 60 euros per hour.

Nice room, although not generous in size. 5 hangers were provided for two of us! We were staying for 5 nights and away for 10 nights in all, so this was a ridiculous number. I rang reception to ask for some more and had my head bitten off and told how many rooms in the hotel there were and that was what we were allowed! 4 more were brough to us, but this was really still not enough. Staff in the restaurant and bar were miserable, a smile makes such a difference! Food disappointing, we were half board. Other people in our party actually ate out elsewhere on some evening. Something that should be one of the highlights of the days, was not. Good location and lovely to be able to walk along the front. Wouldn't stay again.

We were here on a tour with half-board. The food here is some of the worst we have ever experienced in a hotel and was always only lukewarm, with little fresh fruit available. At dinner, the puddings consisted of a choice of two cakes. The dining room staff looked absolutely miserable all the time and did not greet guests, although the reception staff were more cheerful as was the chamber maid! We ate out three times to get better meals. The single beds were incredibly narrow and very hard and had a plastic matress protector which crackled every time you moved in the night, which meant a lack of sleep. The shower room and the actual shower were very, very small as was the entrance to get in the shower - so narrow that if you dropped something in the shower it was too small to be able to bend to pick it up. As other guests we had fun getting the toilet cistern to fill after flushing and had to shake the lid to get it to work. The location of the hotel is good at the quieter end of the bay. For some reason, the first floor bar, which adjoined a large balcony for sitting out, was not open although the hotel seemed full. An anoying thing on arrival was that we had to take our own luggage up to our rooms.

Lovely hotel - stunning views- excellent location. Staff were friendly and rooms clean albeit a bit small. Breakfast was buffet style and the usual fare, we ate out in the evenings, local food and drink very reasonably priced, but wine is pricey. It’s near the airport so you do get planes overhead periodically but we like that. The sea was warm enough to swim in everyday but I’d recommend beach shoes as it’s pebbled. We caught the local bus into kotor - 3euro each, try and avoid cruise ship days as it can get quite busy . All in all fabulous holiday !!!

The first thing you see when visiting this hotel is the sea which is across the pedestrian path. The hotel does have their own loungers and umbrellas after giving your room number to the towel man he will give you a towel but be warned if you ask for a replacement after a dip in the sea be aware that he is not happy to replace it! The restaurant is situated inside the hotel unfortunately there is no place to sit outside for breakfast or dinner. The food is only passable. No fresh omelettes at breakfast. Our room was clean although the shower in the bathroom was very small. There was a spa but we didn’t use it. If I came again I would only stay on a bed and breakfast basis as there are penalty of lovely restaurants with walking distance .

The hotel is nice and clean. The restaurant service is excellent. It's a shame about the reception staff, rude and not prepared to welcome and treat guests like in a 4 star hotel. The person at the reception at check out was highly unprofessional and had really rude ways. We will not return a this hotel

Hotel is well situated right on its own beach but a few minutes walk from the car park. The bedroom was very cramped but with good air conditioning and wifi. The restaurant had a good selection and the first floor lounge was a good place to relax with a drink at the end of the day.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights towards the end of June as independent travellers. It is a five storey L-shaped building, renovated in 2016 and with 116 rooms. It is set on the pedestrian esplanade – a short distance from Porto Montenegro and on the Bay of Tivat - with its own private beach 10 metres or so from the front of the hotel. We travelled to the hotel from Podgorica and hired a taxi at a cost of €70.00. A taxi to or from Tivat Airport is €10.00 and would probably be the same amount to or from the bus station which is closer to the hotel. With luggage walking from the bus station would not be a pleasant experience, and walking from the airport not recommended at all. The hotel has a chargeable surface car park to the rear. This is a good quality, resort hotel which accepts bookings from package tour companies and it offers the facilities to be expected of a four star hotel in a holiday resort. Reception is large and airy with numerous discrete seating areas, a bar and an outside casual dining area. Beyond reception on the ground floor was a breakfast/dining room seemingly well capable of accommodating a full hotel (but it must be emphasised it did not operate any marshalling system and we never found it remotely full), to the other side of reception there is a separate restaurant, we believe open to non-guests. On the first floor there was a gym and spa – and also a Lounge Bar with seating inside the hotel and outside on a balcony overlooking the beach and bay. Our room was on the 4th floor at the front of the hotel and therefore overlooking the beach and bay. Some rooms have a balcony – we did not. We understand there to be a large variety of rooms but we had booked a double superior sea view and although clean and comfortable we felt was expensive for what we secured. The room had a small lobby area in which there was a chair and a desk together with wardrobes. A short passage with a bathroom off led to the bedroom. The bedroom was disappointingly small. The bedroom was completely furnished by the bed and two bedside tables, there was a shelf which ran opposite the foot of the bed into a fridge and housing. Though we could open the French windows and had a Juliet balcony the space could not be enhanced. There was no other seating but the chair in the lobby. The bed was a good size and comfortable with good linen but sadly a very noticeable mattress protector. The bathroom had a shower cubicle, small towels (which were coming to the end of their lives) but ample toiletries. The bathroom was clean. There was a safe but no tea or coffee making facilities. Air-con was efficient and wifi acceptable. We experienced little noise from within the hotel but some from outside notwithstanding that the beach is formally closed at 20:00hrs. We did not find it unacceptable but light sleepers would need earplugs. Breakfast is a buffet and is extensive with a good selection for vegetarians. Because of the size of
