Titchwell Manor Hotel

Wonderful breakfast. Best taste of fine dining for dinner. Walking distance to RSPB.

We loved this place it was nice a quite but also there are places to go that are not far away, lovely walks to the beach and other places, breakfast was really nice, room that we had was so nice, thank you for the upgrade it made my husbands 60th birthday even better,a lovely touch was bottles of water for the journey home, thank you we really enjoyed our stay

This is a review for the hotel (and included breakfast) only - I've written a separate, unfortunately negative, review for the restaurant evening meal on the Titchwell Manor restaurant page. Stayed for one night for a quick break away - in the main house (which while OK is somewhat tired - I suspect the newer courtyard rooms are better). Overall we enjoyed the stay, the staff were attentive and pleasant and the breakfast was superb. Downside was the restaurant meal being ridiculously expensive - my view on this has not affected the rating of the hotel as reviewed separately - but do go in with your eyes open.

Our restaurant booking was for 18.45 and we arrived early and we chose to be taken straight to our table. The starter - very delicious - was served but we waited until 20.25 for our main course. There was no apology or explanation though the restaurant did remove the discretionary service charge. Don’t go if you’re hungry!

We're making this an annual habit thanks to the warm welcome and very comfortable accommodation a short distance from RSPB Titchwell. After a bracing day birding in uncertain conditions, returning to a warm lounge with a well-fed open fire is just lovely. The staff are real people who engage in a friendly way - sometimes, like Erica, going the extra mile who is as awesome as the breakfast she brings to your table! Everyone's nice - see you again next year.

We thoroughly our 3 night stay in an excellent dog friendly room. Very comfortable super king bed and great shower. On the first night the food was excellent, beautifully cooked and unusual flavours. On the second night we were disappointed to find the same menu apart from duck legs instead of duck breast. On the third night we were quite frankly more than disappointed to find exactly the same menu again. All three nights the food was well presented but we would hesitate to stay 3 nights again.

Always wanted to stay here since having a meal here a few years ago. It’s a lovely small hotel. We received a free upgrade on arrival. Stayed in room 6 in the main building. Bed very comfortable, Nespresso machine , lovely toiletries. Unfortunately there is a problem with the plumbing, 10:30 pm when just drifting off to sleep there was a loud noise , possibly caused by an airlock, not from our room, possibly from kitchen. At 6:30 am we were woken up again by the same noise which happened repeatedly. When we complained to reception they said no one else has complained. Reading the reviews this has been a problem for years . Such a shame that nothing has been done to resolve it. This has put us off from staying here again.

Beautiful Hotel, lovely rooms and friendly welcoming staff. We used their wheelchair accessible room which was warm, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower with a shower over a built in seat and another shower for those able to stand up. The tea and coffee facilities were perfect and the bed very comfortable. After drinks in the bar near the fire we had a delicious meal and breakfast in the morning was great.

Excellent food, had a lovely dinner and 2 breakfasts there, all very well cooked and presented. The staff in the hotel are welcoming and friendly, showed flexibility and provided speedy responses when booking. Would definitely recommend.
