Hotel O Kennedy Nagar Near Railway Station Formerly Jayalakshmi Residency

Do not, I warn you, do not go into this hotel with your Family. There is no negative rating, so had to give a single star. I had booked this hotel on oyo app and the photos of the property doesn't match the physical building. The rooms are very dark. Lift doesn't work properly. They say 24*7 room service and hot water, but no one picks up the phone at reception even on day shift. And hot water, it's runs by solar it seems but is available from morning 6 to 10 even if the sun is still there till evening. The property is listed for high cleanliness. That's the biggest trap I fell for. Out of my 4 days stay, not even a single soul came to clean the room. On second day, we asked them to send someone to clean and waited for 2hrs, but no one came. On third day we gave the keys in the morning and returned back late night. Adding to our stress, the room is still not cleaned. The second trap I fell for was security. That's a place for night outs and one night stands. I was with my wife and two kids and adding horror to it, our room doesn't have a lock from inside. Every night I had to keep a chair as a lock to the room. First day itself I complained about it but no one did anything. There are many other things like taps are broken, exhaust fan doesn't work so the room is filled with bathroom smell, wardrobe is lame, etc etc, Currently posting this review on my return journey.
