Minang Cove Resort

Minang Cove is a secluded paradise. The views are spectacular. Accommodation is clustered around a little cove with a golden sandy beach. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Ana was very helpful. The food is relatively simple but good. For those that like a cocktail or a beer the bar is well stocked for sundowners. Sadly the reef around the cove has been impacted by bleaching but some live corals remain and a good range of marine fauna make the snorkelling good. This is a great destination if you simple want to chill out. A range of excursions are also available.

30 years is a long time for locally owned establishments to keep up their unique identity and high standards. With only 10 guest rooms the staff and family management at Minang Cove have been steadfast in their mission - to offer a small resort that is remembered and revisited. One perfect indication of their success is how often they can be fully booked. Another terrific barometer for quality is when a resort retains its staff. They've maintained a kid friendly yet serene place. We love this place!

We had a wonderful and peaceful time at the resort. The beach is gorgeous and allows for beautiful snorkeling. Diving in the south is outstanding. The staff is incredibly kind and we the food was delicious. We were quite sad to leave the island and the hotel. Thank you to all the staff for the beautiful vacation. Can’t recommend enough.

To find such calm,serenity and kindness on this beautiful Island has resulted in this being..Best holiday..how many daya have i stayed here the Island is very beautiful, the sea is calm..when we got here it made us mesmerized by the beauty of the Island.. the food is very good even simple. Sofia n Anna are very helpful..how many daya we are looking for staff dive we dont see you until we get home.the room is very clean.we really tell in love with nora massage, sweet women with a smile..please to Change the girl restaurant worker because ther body smells very bad everday..her face is very arrogant it is not customer when taking orders or delivery foodcourt women take orders at Village shops.

We just loved our stay here. Stunning views and an amazing private beach with fantastic snorkling. Don't come for the luxury - the rooms are nice big and clean and airconditioned, and the food is good. But nothing extraordinary - it's the place that does it. It's a gem! And of course the staff! Always a smile, always ready to serve you and make you feel at home.

We were so sad to leave Minang Cove today after an amazing vacation. The resort felt very quiet and out of the way and we spent most days just swimming and kayaking and relaxing with cocktails at the beautiful beach. For more adventurous types there is also hiking, snorkeling, boat trips and so on but we were happy to just chill. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and the best part was the large balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We traveled with our toddler son and found the resort very family friendly with high chairs, cribs and toddler sized life vests. The beach is also really kid friendly with very calm, warm water which gets deeper very gradually. We really had an amazing time and considering what we’ve seen of the rest of the island, are 100% certain we picked the best possible place to stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday in a beautiful place far from the crowds I couldn’t recommend Minang Cove Resort more highly.
