We have visited the Port William many times over the years when visiting Trebarwith but had never stayed in the hotel. There has clearly been significant investment recently to both the inside and exterior and everywhere has been very tastefully decorated. The room was really lovely and well equipped with very comfy beds. We didn't arrive until quite late in the evening so didn't eat in the restaurant but the staff were really friendly and accommodating and we had a delicious breakfast sitting watching the waves crashing on the beach below. Would highly recommend.

Return visit to this inn with incredible sea views from every bedroom and the restaurant. Clean room and en-suite, and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Well stocked bar and well kept beer. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner, with food well prepared and not rushed on every occasion. Would have appreciated a wider chioice and a little more variety on dinner menu, but I cannot eat mushrooms, fish or seafood so I am always limited in choice. As other reviewers have mentioned, parking at the Inn itself is very limited, and all spaces were taken by staff and non-residents. However, the alternative car park is only 100 yards away and was free at the time of our visit, so this was not a problem. I am sure we will return for a third stay in the future.

Had a lovely time over a long weekend break. Accommodation was comfortable and clean, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent ! Definitely be going back again, it's a good point to have as a base and travel around. 😁👍👍

This location, staff and accommodation was second to none. Amazing views, fantastic staff experience, great food and comfortable in every way. I know I would only stay here any given opportunity when I visit again. Cannot fault anything we loved it

we have stayed at the Port William several times and always enjoyed it.Our only complaint is the parking.There are 8 rooms in the hotel and there is sufficient room for 8 cars but the problem is that most of the car park is taken by hotel staff. Nobody wants to unload their car in the suggested alternative car park.

Popped into the Port William multiple times on our weeks holiday. Mary, Aiden and the rest of the team were always very welcoming. Top location, stunning views, lovely food and drinks. We will definitely be returning later this year for a weekend stay at the Port William.

Extraordinarily comfortable bed in a room with 'that' stunning view. The staff in the bar and restaurant are so welcoming - dog friendly - and all the food is properly good. Believe me, over the last couple of visits we have tried quite a few dishes from the menu and they have been consistently excellent. We would 100% recommend Port William as a destination.

A lovely pub in a beautiful location. Being able to see the sea right outside the bedroom window is wonderful. We were in room 7 which was nice and the bed was comfy but the room smelled strongly of damp. They forgot to clean our room while we were there so I had to go and ask for fresh towels, more coffee etc. We're all human and mistakes happen but it's alot of money to not have your room cleaned. The restaurant is expensive but the food is really good and feels like a treat. Pricing at the bar was inconsistent with us being charged more than £5 difference for the same round at the bar on different occasions. At 6.30am deliveries of barrels etc began under our room, they were very noisy. This wasn't a big deal as it is a pub so is expected but I imagine would be annoying if you want a lie in. Would stay again as the location, food and staff were nice but it is expensive for a damp room which wasn't cleaned.

We stayed here for the night on the way home from a week in Carbis bay. What a perfect end to our holiday. We were welcomed and shown to our room which was small but perfectly formed with a sea view . The bed was comfortable and the addition of a small fridge in the room was great too . We had an evening meal there which was delicious and the pub has the most amazing views of the sea and a glorious sunset location! Breakfast was brilliant with so much choice and nothing was too much trouble , even the dogs staying there with another couple got sausages for breakfast which we thought was lovely . We will definitely return .
