Anthea Hotel

This hotel is absolutely disgusting not only is there rotting walls and holes everywhere there is cockroaches and bed bugs I asked to be moved after being bitten over a dozen times by bed bugs and the staff at reception refused to help he also offered me a plaster like that would help and refused to give me the managers number but from reading reviews the manager is useless as well please avoid this hotel at all cost it needs a health and safety check which would most definitely lead to it shutting down i wouldn’t expect a wild animal to stay here it’s disgraceful if I could rate it with no stars I would it don’t even deserve the one

We stayed here as a family in July 23. The location was close to the beach but a drive from the town. The hotel itself is great. The rooms were clean and had basic amenities which were all fine. The pool and pool area is terrific. It’s a boutique hotel and the staff are very friendly and really take care to make sure you have whatever you need. The breakfast is divine and we really enjoyed the local produce served each morning.

If you looking for a hotel slightly out of the tourist zone where you will be pampered We had a huge room with a massive balcony The staff were very friendly The food although a small menu, was so good They serve a breakfast that will rival the big hotels Fresh Fred food 5 minute walk to a lovely beach bar where you get access to the beach and loungers for the cost of your meal Thank you to the hotel management and staff if occasion arises we will certainly be back

Really lovely small and friendly hotel. Spacious and clean rooms, all with outside space. The hotel is not right on the beach so rooms on higher floors have better views. The pool is lovely and deep and they make a great mojito at the bar. Buffet breakfast has a great range of hot and cold food, cereals and baked goods. Local cured meats and cheeses too. Didn’t use the spa facilities but they look great. Dinner was simple but with excellent fresh ingredients and really flavourful (and no more expensive than nearby restaurants). Great for people who like a simple, stylish place to stay.

I think it is one of the best places to stay. The ladies at the reception offer a great customer experience. The breakfast is excellent. The most important thing is that you feel like home. The building fits the Cyclades environment.

Arrived here as part of an island hopping trip from Secret Escapes and we couldn't have been more pleased with the Hotel . It was at the end of the season so the spa was closed but what a beautiful setting set back from the main road in to the village . We have never met a group of staff that show their love in hosting and care towards the guests that these do in all the years of traveling . Great options at breakfast and you should certainly take the opportunity to eat from either the snack or dinner menus . Can't wait to return ❤️

Such a lovely place in a great location. It away from the hustle and bustle of the Chora, but close enough to travel back and forth. Facilities were clean and comfortable. The pool was nicely appointed, bar was just right and breakfast was great and filling. The room was clean but a tad smaller than we would prefer. Service was excellent. The young ladies as the reception were all so warm, friendly and helpful. They were attentive to our questions and even arranged a driver for us to visit the other side of the island. The breakfast and bar service was wonderful. They really do their best to offer quality food, service and hospitality. Enjoyed our stay, but would choose a larger room.
