Leonardo Hotel Tiberias

Our experience was really bad because of the terrible smell in the hallways, on the way from the elevator to the room. The smell was strong, it made us really nauseous. It's a shame because the room was lovely, but the smell was so strong that we won't recommend the hotel to friends and we won't be staying there again. It's a shame. It ruined our vacation.

I stayed two nights with my wife for the marathon event. The hotel was fine not far from the race The service is fair and the staff are friendly. Our room floor was a bit sticky but the bathroom was clean enough. We missed breakfast due to the race but on the second day (whichis shabbat) the selection of foos is basic and adequate. No fresh pastries bread and espresso on Saturday. All in all we got good value for money.

Horrible hotel!! Dirty, old , badly maintained. Don't go there!!! I booked and tried to cancel upon arrival and they refused to to refund me not even half. Zero! I had to pay full amount without staying there!! They even made me call the reservation office while my daughter was crying begging to leave the hotel, which made me book a hotel in front for almost 3000 NIS!! Hotel reception manager even called me to complain about my review and argued with me, can you imagine??

Without a doubt the best hotel we stayed recently The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and professionally , we enjoyed the pool, the rooms the variety food in the dining room with all kinds of different styles We definitely recommend hotel Leonardo Tiberias And we will visit again

The room was clean and a beautiful view. Nice pool. The buffet breakfast was full of choices and really good. Only thing is parking was a hassle and you have to pay to get down to beach. It was in a good location too.

The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Our room (superior with a Sea View) was spacious and functional. It is an older hotel so the furniture design is out of date. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety. We also got a late check out. There is plenty of public parking on the street. We enjoyed our stay. This was March 2025 during the Hamas war, so there were not many tourists there at all

I booked this hotel after seeing many positive reviews and was really looking forward to my stay. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match what I expected. When I arrived, the lobby wasn’t very clean, but I hoped the room would be better. Sadly, the room had a strong smell of cigarettes, a clogged toilet, and dirty furniture. I spoke with the front desk, and the manager kindly offered to show me another room, but that one had similar issues. He then told me I could cancel and receive a full refund, which I agreed to. I was told the refund would take up to 14 days, but after waiting, nothing came through. When I called to follow up, it was difficult to reach the right person, and I was disconnected several times. Eventually, I had to dispute the charge with my bank, and the dispute was approved. However, a few weeks later, my bank reversed the refund because the hotel did not agree to issue it. Overall, I was disappointed — not only by the room conditions, but also by how the situation was handled afterward. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both cleanliness and communication with guests.

The location of the hotel is great, but the room was not clean. We found a few cockroaches, and there was a bad smell in the room.
