Holly Lodge Boutique B&B

This is quite simply THE best B&B we have ever been to. From the minute we were greeted & shown to our fabulous room we were delighted. The fixtures & fittings were top notch & everything & more had been thought of. Our room was luxurious, beds & bedding were bliss, a/c was a bonus, shower was enormous & powerful with a non fixed head (perfect if you don’t want to wash your hair). There was even 2 small bottles of wine which we could’ve had replenished the next day if we asked. The lounge is gorgeous with an ice machine, drinks fridge & snacks available via an honesty book which is added to your final bill. Our breakfast was amazing, so much choice & everything was fresh. We were so full that we didn’t need to eat again until 6pm. Natalie & Theresa could not have done more for us & even offered us pastries to eat later in the day. Super lovely ladies ❤️ The gardens are beautiful too, with seating & loungers We will 100% be back, loved it!!

From picking up our key to leaving the next morning, this was as good a stay as we have ever had in a guesthouse. We stayed in Mistletoe and the room was spotless, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottles of wine and both sparkling and still water to welcome us. The bed was large and comfortable and the dual-basin shower room was almost as large as the bedroom itself. The lack of a wardrobe in the room was not missed as there were plenty of hooks and coat hangers if needed. A nice touch as a torch by the bed should you need a light but don't want to turn the main ones on. Our room overlooked the immaculate garden, which contained sun loungers, chairs and, should you feel inclined, bikes (and helmets) to borrow for a ride around the quiet countryside roads. The breakfast was served by two very friendly ladies and the choice of food, both continental and traditional was very good. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we are already looking for a suitable weekend to return for a longer stay

The perfect venue! We stayed in the spacious 'Ivy' room with en-suite shower room. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable with good storage and a cute sofa to while away the time planning the next adventure. Holly Lodge is a cleverly designed property with a beautiful garden complete with cosy corners. Bicycles are available. The bed and linen were sumptuous as too was the breakfast with delicious options available. Thursford is the perfect location from which to explore the Norfolk coastline and beyond. This property has well deserved reviews and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you to the Holly Lodge team

Amazing gem of a boutique B&B, rooms have everything. Nespresso, water, wine.. Breakfast are good quality.. Electric point for the car. its in a great location to visit norfolk. We would recommend this place to any couple wanting a great break

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in March, it’s a beautiful property in a lovely, quiet location. We stayed in the Ivy room which was beautifully designed as is the whole place with lovely little personal touches throughout. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful and we were really made to feel at home. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Holly Lodge ☺️

We always book this accommodation when we go to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. The place has never disappointed, we choose to stay in one of the cottages and it is cosy in there. Breakfast is always great and the staff are so friendly, we won't hesitate to return again in 2024.

We stayed in Misletoe, the room was immaculate and the meet and great staff were friendly. Pity we didn't book 2 nights. Breakfast was cooked especially for you and the choice is endless. The porridge was the best I have tasted..much better than mine. Will be booking again as this is within walking distance of the Thursford Spectacular show.

Absolutely perfect! A beautiful house with more that you could wish for. Was sad to only be staying one night. Our party stayed in Mistletoe in The Lodge and the Shepherds Hut which was fabulous. Real luxury. And if you’re going to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular it is a 3 minute walk away.

This gem of a small boutique B & B is absolutely perfect for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular as it is very near, yet quiet and peaceful To be recommended for both Winter and Summer stays We have already booked for 2024
