Buona posizione, 100 m dalla spiaggia. La spiaggia è solitamente tranquilla, poche persone, soprattutto i locali con famiglie e alcuni turisti scandinavi. Il cibo nei ristoranti e sulla spiaggia è sorprendente. La piscina dell'hotel è bello, pulito e temperato. Se ti piace correre le mattine, la strada lungo la spiaggia è così buona. È difficile arrivare e costoso con taxi (20 min 600 b) e aspettato per un auto 40 minuti. Le camere sono buone, pulite, comode, in piscina è fredda . La spiaggia è pubblica, vicino alla strada.

It’s basically a small private island. About 45 min via a ferry and boat ride. And about 3 - 3.5 hours drive from Bangkok. We stayed in the Beachview Bungalows. These are relatively basic but spacious. Love the huge changing room area with the big mirror. All the rooms have no electricity between 9am to 1pm, and there are no TVs. Wi-Fi is on the slow side and available in the reception area. The mattress was on the thicker side but it was still comfy. We stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet was yummy and the same for both days. There are some vegetarian options on the lunch and dinner menu. I think the food is ok. Some items are really good. Some are above average but don’t stand out as much. You can also top up water at the restaurant’s water dispensers. Expect insect bites - so mosquito repellants is highly recommended. We tried snorkeling, and the resort has snorkeling gear for loan. We found some coral and fish in the waters near the resort. These areas are marked with floating balls anchored to the sea bed. The coral and fish don’t look like what we see on Nat Geo, but they still look nice. You can also rent kayaks. The infinity pool is small but very good for photos and chilling. The beach area around the resort is generally clean and great for photo ops. The walk around the island - near Bungalow B12 which is furthest from the reception - takes about 45 min to 60 min and covers an approximate distance of 1.6 km. There are some very nice scenic spots along the trail. Lots of washed up rubbish along the way too, just to show how much we humans discard. Just have proper footwear (non-slip, good grip) as parts of the path include climbing over rocks and navigating steep paths. There are ropes along the steep sections and signs along the path. Some of the huts by the beach have power points - probably beneficial if you have to check out at 11:30am but the ferry back to mainland sets off only at 3pm. Lots of peacocks on the island. All very docile. Arrangements from check in to check out was smooth. I also got the resort to arrange a taxi for us back to Bangkok after we check out. It was the more pricey option, but time saving. All in all - the resort is relatively clean. The staff are fantastic. It’s a great place for friends, families and couples to hang out and chill.

Just wanted to share my amazing experience at the Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa! The room was sparkling clean, and they even made sure my birthday request was perfectly prepared – a big thank you to everyone involved! The staff truly impressed me with their friendliness and helpfulness, especially Khun Wean at the check-in counter. The resort boasts two lovely pools. While the main pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance during my visit, the one connecting to the beach offered breathtaking views that left me speechless. Speaking of the beach, the hotel's direct access was fantastic! There were some rocks near the stairs leading down, so just a heads up to be cautious when stepping onto them. For a relaxing evening, we dined at the C-salt restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it! If you're looking for a convenient and enjoyable dinner option without leaving the hotel, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Passato 5 giorni con mio figlio per una vacanza, questo è un luogo ideale per le persone che cercano un resort tranquillo e rilassante. Le camere (bungalow) sono state ridipinte e sono molto confortevoli con aria condizionata, wi-fi, e un grande bagno con doccia, due piscine disponibili, tra cui una sezione per bambini. Bella combinazione di stranieri e ospiti thailandesi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è eccellente e ora evitiamo hotel marcati che hanno spese più elevate. Abbiamo il comfort e il mare e possiamo farlo senza gli straordinari. La spiaggia era bella e il mare è chiaro. Forse questo è il periodo migliore per visitare. Molte attività intorno all'hotel, come snorkelling e immersione. Tornerei perché questo è il tipo di posto che amo. L'inglese potrebbe essere un problema per le persone che non vivono in Thailandia, ma il personale fa il possibile per aiutarvi.
