"On the morning of the day of the stay, when I went to leave my luggage at the reception, the woman who came explained various things to me and made the arrangements was very nice, but when I checked in the afternoon, I was given a different room even though I had booked it after looking at the photos, and when I said that, she said it was in the system and didn't take me seriously, so I explained it to another person and finally got the room changed. As it is a 5-star hotel, the room was well-equipped, spacious, and had a good view, but the amenities were a little shabby, and the lobby and the building were hot. The breakfast atmosphere was okay, and the other staff were kind and polite, but it was a shame that it was a luxury hotel, and I felt like it was ruined by having female staff like that."

She went above and beyond with aiding any questions or queries I had. Her warm welcome and attention to detail made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I walked in. Thao’s exceptional service even extended kindness, she went out of her way to help clean my motorbike visor. A must stay. I can’t wait to return to this hotel on my next trip!"

"Siamo stati alloggiati all'hotel Max Boutique a Cao Bang in una camera abbastanza grande e confortevole con tutte le attrezzature necessarie e un servizio molto buono, soprattutto dal personale sul desk front. Il colazione servito ogni mattina è stato particolarmente buono ma purtroppo non hanno un ristorante per cena. Tuttavia, abbiamo trovato un eccellente ristorante bbq nella città e ci sono anche molti buoni ristoranti da scegliere da vicino"

"We had a memorable time at PIA homestay. Very beautiful remodeled building. Rooms are well equipped and as shown on photos from google, tastefully appointed with very comfy beds! The best of the stay are the owners who will cook beautiful meals for you and take you on wonderful tours to visit the area. We did a day and a half of tours and had the best experience. We highly recommend using them also for arranging transportation to and from Hanoi or other locations. They can help you with anything you need to discover Cao Bang region. Reach out to them early! They are absolutely wonderful!"
