Sagara Beach Resort

Worst resort I have ever seen.Dirty washrooms,lizards,cockroaches...everything you can find in a single room ...no lift for senior citizens.Very uncomfortable stay,will not suggest anyone to visit here .

In my entire life i haven't visited any worse hotel than this. Highly dirty messy lizards are roaming everywhere when I have complaint about no staff is bothered about it. Food tastes very bad. I would prefer not to book this hotel as this is nightmare for any traveller.

Very highly overpriced. Rooms and hallways are very very ordinary and ancient for the price. Air conditioner was not working. Quality of seating in restaurant was also very cheap and without air conditioning. Food was alright, though. Swimming pool seemed deep enough for adults to only be able to dip their legs. Overall, highly overpriced property which requires some serious renovation.

This is a decent hotel right opposite to the beach. Though it's very near from the beach all rooms may not have a beach view. Some portion of the building is quite old and the rooms are not very upgraded. The AC and other gadgets appear to be very old style in the rooms. The rooms are very clean and toilets are also fresh. The staff in the hotel is quite friendly and the hotel has ample parking space. This hotel has a restaurant which is even though big enough, falls short due to the number of rooms in the hotel. Surprisingly the hotel serves more of north Indian food and very less of local food. So Kerala food lovers may have to lookout for a different place for their lunch and dinner. This is a good hotel but will definitely not be my first choice if I visit kovalam once again. It was raining when we went to this hotel but they dont provide umbrella to reach to your room and have to walk in rains and wet floor near swimming pool. Rooms were good and spacious. Food was good. But hospitality was poor. The staff was not cooperative

Stayed for 2 nights at the the end of an Intrepid Travel South India Tour. Public areas are good. Rooms and bathrooms are very tired but clean. Room had good veranda with views over the nice pool/terrace area and sea. Friendly helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was okay but a little chaotic taking ages waiting for items to be replenished. Had dinner served outside on the terrace with my group one night which was very good. It's well situated with views over the sea and an easy walk to the beach with a large selection of restaurants, shops etc. On the whole enjoyed my stay but 2 nights were enough here for me.
