Nice friendly staff from arrival to departure. Good clean decor with quality food both evening meal and breakfast.

This hotel is lovely. The staff were very friendly, the bed so comfortable and the location perfect for exploring Northumberland. Our evening meal was delicious with the choice of a pre starter incase you couldn’t manage a full three courses. Breakfast was unbeatable. The nicest mushrooms I’ve tasted ! I’m looking forward to going back again soon

We dined as a family of 15 for a birthday celebration aged from 7 to 80 A private dining area was supplied and our every need was met The food was absolutely fabulous as was the service And friendly staff Nothing was too much trouble Very highly recommended

I highly recommend this hotel, the staff the food and the accommodation were second to none. We like it so much we keep coming back to stay. Also with your stay there are plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area. I'm finally when leaving buy some chocolate brownies from the bar.

Fabulous place! My daughter and I stayed here with our Labrador Izzy while attending a dog show in the area. We booked as the hotel was dog friendly and convenient. Wow - dog friendly is an understatement. From the moment we arrived, Izzy was made to feel like one of the guests even receiving her own welcome pack of treats and toys! Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and Izzy was able to eat with us in the bar. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and beautifully equipped with lots of unique touches. Would highly recommend this beautiful place.

We have been to this restaurant / pub four times now and really enjoyed our experience, the food and drinks are great but what really makes it special is the customer service from Charlotte, she is a credit to the Greenhead Hotel team, we shall be back very soon 👍🏻😃

Room was very cold on arrival and wall paper peeling off wall in one area however, the hotel was very festive and staff were great. Room was much warmer after dinner once the heating had been on for a few hours. Food was delicious and huge portions. Would return

Having walked back from Gilsland to Haltwhistle, we stopped here for refreshments. The place was very cosy on a cold day, and the bar staff were very attentive. We imagined staying here in the winter when the cosy environment could be best enjoyed. We have plans to do more walks which take this place in for a refreshment stop.
