Perfect location for anywhere in the city centre. Rooms and vibes are splendid and modern as its name. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast on the rooftop.

Hotel perfetto. Localizzazione centralissima, camere molto pulite e arredate con buon gusto in stile “modernariato”, colazione SPETTACOLARE (ricca e varia, di ottima qualità) sulla terrazza all’ultimo piano, personale gentilissimo e cordiale! Manca solo qualche mensola in più nel bagno e/o nelle camere, che sono piccole. Ma se si viaggia da soli, non è davvero un problema.

Hotel centralissimo e prossimo a tutti i luoghi di interesse e dello shopping. Camere ampie, pulite e insonorizzate. Il personale alla reception è di una gentilezza e di una cordialità uniche, sempre disponibile per informazioni turistiche o consigli sui ristoranti. Menzione speciale per la colazione, di ottima qualità, con una signora che prepara uova e piatti caldi su richiesta. Notevole varietà di salato e dolce. Siamo stati benissimo e lo consiglio vivamente.

The staff went above and beyond for us. They helped us during an emergency and the whole staff checked on us everyday after making sure we were OK. Great Breakfast every morning on the rooftop. Great location to everything. They were generous on bottles of water as well. Highly recommend.

I am actually staying at the Modernist as I write this review. The hotel is located in the centre of Athens and handy for all the museums, churches, nightlife and restaurants. It is however amazingly quite (we are in a room at the back). The hotel staff all speak English very well and are very helpful and friendly. For example, last night we asked for a local Greek seafood restaurant, and the staff person whipped out a map and showed us several options. And booked one. The rooms are clean but ours was a bit small and a few inevitable nicks from wear and tear, but that's expected in this price range. The Wifi is fine, nice beds, good toiletries, and a strong shower. The standout element for us was the breakfast. It was vast and offered a number of Greek pastries, sandwiches, yogurts, fruits, nice things to sprinkle, cereals, and you can also have your own eggs made.

If you are looking for a clean, modern, welcoming hotel, this is it! My husband and I arrived late September for a 4 night stay. We were welcomed by the reception staff as though we were old friends. They would greet us in this wonderful way every time they saw us! Breakfast was lovely too! The ladies in the breakfast room could not do enough to make your start of the day a good one! The eggs are cooked freshly for you and how you prefer, then delivered to your table. I am gluten intolerant and had plenty of breakfast choice. The location was perfect for seeing all the sites with lots of restaurants and shops close by too! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. I would 100% recommend the staff and hotel.
