Hotel in zona Church of St. Argiriou Epanomitou, Thermaikos

I recently stayed at the Sun Beach Hotel in Agia Triada with my husband and our 5-year-old daughter, and our experience was quite mixed. Rooms and Amenities: The hotel is housed in an old building, and it shows in the condition of the rooms and furniture. The room we stayed in had outdated and worn-out furniture, including a very old and dusty carpet. The curtains were also dusty, which is unacceptable for a hotel. The balcony was concerning as the fence moved with every touch, making it feel unsafe. There was no kettle in the room, which I found to be an inconvenience. A small fridge was provided in the room, tucked inside a piece of furniture. While it was handy to have, the fridge was quite noisy, and the constant hum made it difficult to sleep properly. One particularly unsettling aspect of our room was the door in the middle that connected to the adjacent room. It seemed to offer little soundproofing, as we could clearly hear the conversations of the people next door. This was especially unnerving at night, and it made us feel less secure and disturbed our sleep. The beds were okay, with one separate bed and two twin beds, and the mattresses were decent. However, the central air conditioning system was not functioning properly, causing issues in the hallway and at the reception area. Key Card and Door Issues: When we arrived, the key card for our room didn’t work, so we were given a regular key instead. Unfortunately, the door was extremely difficult to open, even showing marks from previous struggles to push it open. This added unnecessary frustration to our stay and made entering our room a hassle. Cleanliness and Hygiene: The hotel operates a policy of changing towels only upon request, which is environmentally friendly and reduces excessive detergent use, so I appreciated that aspect. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. The pool was overcrowded, and it was clear that hygiene standards were not being enforced. I observed people with visible fungal infections on their nails being allowed into the pool, which was quite disturbing. Despite the pool area looking nice at first glance, this lack of care for hygiene was a major drawback. Service: The service at the reception was another low point of my stay. We had express check-in, but the staff did not respect the check-in hours of 14:00, nor did they honor the express check-in service. The receptionists were rude and unhelpful, which left a bad impression right at the start of my stay. Breakfast: The breakfast was decent, with a buffet offering a variety of options that could cater to most tastes. However, a significant inconvenience was the lack of ingredient labels on the buffet items. This was particularly problematic for my daughter, who has dietary restrictions. It made navigating the buffet more challenging, and I would strongly recommend the hotel address this issue for the sake of guests with food allergies or special dietary needs. Bathroom: The

Ho soggiornato una notte all'Hotel Golden Star, ho scelto l'Hotel perché ho volato presto al mattino e l'Hotel era a 15 minuti di taxi dall'aeroporto di Salonicco e anche vicino al mare. L'hotel è stato molto amichevole, le camere erano moderne e pulite, l'aria condizionata funzionava bene. La stanza era molto piccola ma non si importava molto perché stavo solo nella stanza. Il Lounge Bar, le scale e il Beach Bar erano molto piacevole e confortevole. L'hotel dispone di una spiaggia privata, che è molto piccola. Nelle vicinanze dell'hotel ci sono stati molti ristoranti e negozi di souvenir turistici.

Albergo pulito, comodo con personale efficiente e molto disponibile. Molto simpatica la signora, di cui ora mi sfugge il nome. A pochi metri dal lungomare di Perea ed alla miriade di locali che lo caratterizzano. Stanza pulita e con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole, compreso un buon frigorifero , molto utile per tenere bevande al fresco nelle sere ancora calde di settembre. Colazione abbastanza varia: ho particolarmente apprezzato la presenza di piccole porzioni di tiropita e spanacopita ( pasta sfoglia farcita con formaggio o formaggio e spinaci) e persino di bugatsa, dolce tipico di Salonicco. A meno di dieci minuti di taxi dall'aeroporto di Salonicco.

Camera perfetta con accesso diretto alla piscina Posto molto pulito e curato anche nei minimi particolari Staff molto disponibile in tutte le necessita' riscontrate. Ottima e varia prima colazione che soddisfa tutti i gusti

Good points : - The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and kept us well informed whenever we had questions. - We were left to check out at 1 p.m. Negative points : - The location: it's literally a No Man's Land there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. - The swimming pool: we were told that there would be 2 swimming pools, one indoors and one outdoors, however during the 5 days we were there the outdoor pool had a problem and was green they gave them took several days to completely empty it in the field next to the hotel and as many days to fill it using a small garden hose, when we asked if we could at least enjoy the indoor pool we were told that it was emptied during the summer and therefore during our stay we could not take advantage of the swimming pool once. - Cleanliness: leaves something to be desired, cleaning was only done once during our stay of 4 nights because we explicitly requested it (although every day we put ”clean the room” on our door). The joints of the bathroom were completely moldy, the terrace was filled with excrement of midges, the evacuation of the condensation of the air conditioning went directly to the terrace which made that when we used the air conditioning the terrace was flooded dirty water and prevented us from walking freely, the entrance door to the room (213) was completely smashed. - Breakfast: we could not book the room without breakfast unfortunately because there was no choice it even happened to us not to take it at the hotel even if it was paid. The value for money leaves something to be desired given the inconveniences but the 2 receptionists who did our check-in and our check-out were very friendly

Nous étions en voyage organisé, cet hôtel est superbe, situé sur les hauteurs dans le quartier huppé de la ville que nous voyons de la terrasse. Excellent dîner, cocktails, petit-déjeuner, chambre spacieuse, excellente literie, personnel au top. Je recommande.

La migliore scelta per un ostello nel centro di Salonicco, a mio parere sono le camere più pulite che abbia mai avuto in questa città.. Le informazioni sull'albero sulla prenotazione sono esattamente giuste come si dice circa le distanze dei luoghi che si può camminare a piedi, perfetta comunicazione con la ragazza alla ricezione, lei è molto gentile e utile.. Sicuramente consiglio..

Hotel bello, pulito, moderno e con tutti i confort. Staff cordiale ed efficiente. Stanza familiare spaziosa e comoda, bagno grande e con tutto il necessario. Colazione ottima, abbondante e di qualità. Hanno una convenzione con un garage in zona a circa cento metri dall'hotel per chi avesse necessità di lasciare l'auto custodita. A piedi si puo visitare la maggior parte delle attrazioni turistiche e monumentali di Salonicco, che rimane una città veramente affascinante! Unica cosa, ma forse è stata soltanto una nostra sensazione, è che di notte la zona intorno all'hotel non sia proprio tranquilla per fare una passeggiata. Comunque hotel da consigliare anche a famiglie con figli piccoli.

Un hotel veramente fantastico, immenso, elegante e di design. Tutti i comfort possibili ed una colazione lussuosa. Assolutamente uno dei migliori dove ho avuto la fortuna di alloggiare. Avevamo una stanza comunicante con un'altra coppia di amici e anche questa si è rivelata una scelta perfetta.

Un albergo che vanta 5 stelle, ma in realtà a ora sarebbero 3, anzi i tre italiani forse sono superiori. Camere con mobilità vetusta e non da 5 stelle , bagno con tenda !!! Porte rovinare e soprattutto aria condizionata rumorosa e non fredda… la colazione?? Buona ma non da 5 stelle e soprattutto personale in sala maleducato in quanto avendomi vista nella preparazione di un nn panino mi ga rimproverato perché o eh nudava lo portassi via… msi successo!! Comunque un holiday inn non all d’altezza!!
