Pleasant place in good location . Needs a little love or a coat of paint in the bathroom. Very comfy beds.
Has all you need and nothing extra. Pleasant staff some more helpful than others.

We didnt know there were steps to get there and another route will be slopes only to pull up all our luggages.

The location is perfect for seeing the sights of Sydney Harbour. The view from our balcony room was amazing, the opera house , watching the ferries in Circular quay and the cruise ships in the passenger terminal!
The staff at the hotel were excellent very helpful and accommodating .
The room was fine, but a little tired, but good value.

We stayed at the classic property where the bedroom was upstairs, despite situated on the road at Harrington Street which tended to be noisy due to passing traffic and people across the road staying at another hotel and location of a breakfast bar. With curtains open you get a view of the road but we left them partially open to get some light. Overall opinion good place to stay but keep in mind the more modern part of the hotel does have balcony views of the harbour bridge that we witnessed from our friends place. Everything is within walking distance to Circular Quay to check out the cruise ship at the pier. The Rocks is a good place to be, why not try it.

Such a handy location for us, having arrived in Sydney off a cruise boat. Restaurants in George St again so convenient. Would definitely stay here again for another visit.

we had a clean but run down room, carpet was worn and the decor was old. However the hotel is situated in a really good location.
The pool looked clean but the jacuzzi again was old and not that warm.
Dont pay for breakfast its not in the hotel but in a local cafe which ends up being expensive compared to other cafe's with a better veiw and menu
they did look after our bags before and after room check out, and the staff were very helpful and polite

Excellent location ... perfectly placed for a city break in Sydney. Within an easy 15 minute walk of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and right in the heart of the historic Rocks district. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Rooms are a little tired but very acceptable. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Overall great value for money.
