Good location, very convenient for shopping and restaurants,if you plan for ski, it is a good place for stay, Perisher is about one hour drive from Cooma

Worst motel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, old, broken taps and soap dispenser in the shower. Tiny bathroom. The whole room smells. Dial snapped off the heater so it's either on high or turned off at the switch. Enough hair in the shower and on the carpets to make a wig. Paper thin walls and I'm currently laying here listening to a group of loud obnoxious drunk people in a nearby room or verandah swearing, laughing and just generally keeping my whole family awake. Never again will we stay here.

Don’t stay here! The bed was so hard that sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING! With inconsiderate guests coming in at 3am after a boozy evening to the kids running up and down outside the room at 6am with parents not giving a toss about who they woke up! Got 4 hours sleep which is not great when you’re driving all day. The rooms were shabby and dated. I’ve stayed in a lot of motor inns and this one is one of the worst!

For the price this is a good value motel. Definitely dated however their soft product was very good. Everything worked; beds comfortable - good quality linen as well as tea coffee, toaster and fridge. Really couldn't complain, would stay there again.

Where do you start? Advertised wifi absolutely poor.room is dilapidated fridge when you open the door the fridge nearly topples as it’s so old.No bedside clock,no bedside lamp,down on your knees to switch the heater on as it’s under a bench but don’t bother it’s barely warm.No beds made up ,A very poor advert for NSW tourism .Not even a glass in the room to drink out of.Unbelievable barely 1 star sorry I am not picky this is the first place I’ve ever been disgusted over.Air conditioner also did not work.

I guess for $380 per night we just expected somewhere clean with a decent enough bed to get some sleep. Unfortunately this place didn't come close. The room was filthy with a huge smeared tomoto sauce blob down the wall, old socks from previous guests on the floor, torn dusty curtains, tea cups with crusty dried food on them and mouldy rotting bathroom walls. By far the worst part was the beds though. My guess would be 30+ year old mattresses that could only be likened to laying on a slate foor. Woke up both mornings after a broken 2 hours sleep feeling like death with every inch of my body aching... just what you need before driving 1.5 hours on treacherous mountain roads in the snow! If you are considering this place as an option. DON'T DO IT. pay the extra to stay at Jindabyne or look for somewhere in Tumut, as this place will ruin your trip... To the owners - show some respect to the guests paying thousands of dollars to stay at this dump and invest in some new beds, a few bottles of spray and wipe, a dishwasher and some paint.... that money might be better invested in just bulldozing the place though.

Easy to find and good value accommodation with clean rooms, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Let down by not having the restaurant operating or any food service so you had to order in or go out for a feed but overall good value for money. Could have done without some people in another unit having a full on domestic with three police cars turning up in response but that's not the venue's fault. Other than that, despite being on the main highway to Sydney and Canberra, quiet. Would stay again.

No one on check in, phoned and told keycard under the mat. Restaurant closed, room clean and adequate but very dated. Microwave of antique variety but working. Couple of glasses and cups but that was it. WiFi supplied but pathetic. I'm on my phone hot spot. Only there for a night then onwards but that would do me. Cannot recommend.

One of the worst places I've stayed in, in my life. If I'd paid $50 for the room, then I'd understand the owners paranoia and the total lack of supplies. I was made to feel like a criminal before I'd even seen my room, by signing document promising not to cook food in the room. We got there late just as the owner was closing up. Inside the room there were other warnings and when I read the second one I was fuming. We had been travelling all day, just wanted dinner, a shower and go to bed. There was no microwave, no cutlery, no crockery or plates. There was no supplied water OR milk, so we couldn't even have a cup of tea. We had to go and buy milk, water, cutlery and plates so we could make and eat our sandwiches and have a cup of tea. That drama over, we wanted showers. There was NO soap, or handwash - just shaving cream in the supplied dispensers. Worst of all THERE WERE NO TOWELS! There was a small embroidered hand-towel and no towels and two of us wanting showers. There was a warning notice not to steal the towels - what towels? There was no phone nor any contact details for anyone, so I went to reception which was shut up tight. We had to go without and I was very angry about it and did not sleep very well. I was angry that we were expected to starve, not have showers - or else shower with shaving cream and dry ourselves each with the same hand-towel? I marched up to reception at 9am waited and rang the bell - but nobody came. I left a big note in the room not to charge my credit card for two towels - there were MNO TOWELS! What a ripoff, I want a refund!
