Alexandra Beach Spa Resort

We travelled as 3 generations from 11 months to 60+ in August. From the moment we arrived we enjoyed exceptional service in an immaculately clean environment. Rooms were as requested and the cot for the baby was spotless. Food options were amazing both at breakfast and dinner and we all managed to find things we liked including my 7 year old granddaughter. Wasps were an issue around food but this cannot be blamed on the hotel and everything possible was done to minimise this. Bar prices seemed reasonable and the pizza was especially enjoyed at lunchtime; portion sizes were very generous. All of the staff we came into contact with from reception, bar staff, restaurant staff and cleaning team were really friendly and polite. We were all really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for enabling us to have an enjoyable holiday.

Second time visiting Alexandra Beach Hotel, beautiful place and a lovely new marina been built. Some people say the beach is smaller but not everyone goes to the beach everyday, some lay by the pool or on the beds before the marina beach. There's two parts to the beach one part with sunbeds and one sandy. Its perfect the way it is. The hotel staff are friendly and nothing is an issue. Nicky from Tui is brilliant. She's helpful and informative. Honestly, don't listen to the bad reviews! You won't regret coming to this hotel. Our second time here with children and we love it. Food,staff,amenities are great and to top it off stunning views!!

Just returned from our holiday a couple of days ago from Alexandra Beach Resort. Had an incredible time and are planning on going back next year we enjoyed it that much. The hotel overall was amazing, food was lovely, plenty of options each evening making it great if you were a fussy eater. Breakfast was great too. You wouldn’t go hungry shall we say. Lots of choice on the lunch menu from the Pool Bar, we tried as many options as possible and decided that the pizza and club sandwich were the best by far. Rooms were spacious, cleaned and tidied daily and overall lovely. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Always pleased to see you and loved to have a chat about how our day had been, in particular Maria (Waitress) and Nikki ( Guest Relations). Nikki (Guest Relations) organised a sunset boat cruise for us, the trip was amazing. The operator, Andreas, was fantastic. It was his first time he’d official sailed solo and did a grand job. He made our friend, who's not a fan of boats, feel at ease whilst we were out. Amazing trip, would recommend asking about this trip if your visit. Overall an amazing place and we had a fab holiday. Looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend.

What an amazing holiday. The hotel is set in beautiful well maintained gardens with amazing views out to sea from the terraces around the hotel. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Always polite and helpful. No issue is an issue. The food is of an excellent standard and the waiting staff are lovely. The rooms are big and the housekeeping cleanliness exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel and happy to return.

Brilliant place to stay restaurant fantastic always fresh quality food cooked to perfection 🥰 by the chefs the staff very attentive especially Athina very special lady remembered us from being there in May

Just spent a week at this lovely hotel. Journey time from the airport was 15 minutes to ferry port by coach, then 50 minutes ferry crossing to Thassos, once there it was another 50 minutes by coach to the hotel. Whilst some people may think the journey was a long one, it was made special by the lovely weather and the calm ferry crossing. Hotel was lovely, two pools one smaller than the other and a lot quieter. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, you didn’t have to reserve Pool bar nearby, only minus, was the service was slow at times especially at night. Only ate at the pool bar twice but what we had was delicious, and the amount of chips you got was more than enough for two of us. Staff very friendly, in particular Nicky at reception who was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The only staff member who let the side down was someone who my husband said looked like Bella Emburg but a lot younger 😂 grunted at me when I asked for a menu. Room spacious, bathroom had a lovely big shower. Housekeeping good, visited daily if you wished them to. A few guests mentioned that only 2 English channels both of which were news channels. Didn’t bother us but think it may bother some people. The week before we visited I celebrated my birthday, the hotel had left a bottle of wine, fruit platter and a card wishing me a happy birthday which I thought was a lovely touch. Food good, plenty of choice and catered for all nationalities, which was good. Would have liked to see more specials night with different types of food, ie Chinese, curries, Greek etc. I’m a fussy eater but always found something to eat. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and always clean. Lovely that the hotel has their own vegetable garden. Visited the beach twice, sun beds and umbrellas free, beach bar that does snacks etc very good. There is a menu on the umbrella and a button that you can press for service at your sun bed. Hubby went into the sea he had sea shoes in but thinks he’d be better off without them as they made it difficult to walk in, lots of big rocks etc. Visited the spa which was amazing had a lovely face and head massage with a leg and foot massage all for €50, which was a good offer. Felt very relaxed after my visit. 10 minutes walk to Potos village, which was nice to walk to. Lovely bakery and plenty of ice cream shops. On the front were bars but only really liked 2 of them, Ionian and Margarita, the others seemed to be competing with each other I think who could have the loudest music. Lots of tourist shops too. 10 minutes in the other direction was another small place with beach bars and restaurants, only small but nice to walk to. Limemria we also visited which was €10 each way, where we had a lovely meal on the beach front. Some reviews mentioned lots of wasps, there was wasps but no swarms just the odd one or two. Like all places in Greece there were a number of cats that visited the hotel and local restaurants, the most I ever saw were 3-4 at anyone time. All in
