We visited this property after being there 20 years ago. Still a fab property. Staff exceptional. Place requires a lot of repairs and I am sure they are on to it. The only thing we were very upset was - about our drivers accommodation and food. A GRT run property DOES NOT provide food or not even a cup of tea. The accommodation provided had serious issues with mosquitos so our driver slept in the car. The location of the property was away from shops and other accommodation so to have a cup of coffee our driver had to drive a fair distance. I escalated this to the management mid way of our stay - of course the answer was we will do it sir - but absolutely nothing happened. We plan to be back again as we like the place. But if this is not improved we will reluctantly look for alternatives.

A wonderful resort..Truly a five star! Huge rooms with an ultra modern washrooms ....a balcony overlooking the beautifully maintained lawns and a fantastic location right ***** the river. They have a very courteous staff and they ensure that the guests are looked after well.

This hotel is an amazing place to relax, refresh and reset. The facilities are amazing. The rooms spacious. The grounds well maintained. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. The restaurant food was beautiful too.

Dirty bath, squeaky doors, TV didnt work. AC was hot not cold. Plates and cutlery used at the food hall was chipped and not pristine. Food options not many. Room plug point not international friendly. Also no side table at the plug point to keep our phone during charging.

Grt is upping it's game. Their customer service is constantly great throughout all their properties. This one is no exception. All our family members including the kids were taken care for..food by chef Sundar and co were fresh hot and yummy. Good value for money. Recommended

We went on a family trip to tanjavur and opted GRT for one night stay. A very good experience and enjoyed stay at GRT. Calming ambience and exquisite riverview rooms with balcony. Very courteous staff. Enjoyed food as well. Main course and breakfast was good. Fresh juice and mock tails were not up to the mark.

We were disappointed with the quality of the food, as it did not meet the standards we expect from a hotel like GRT. Despite raising our concerns multiple times, the chef was not receptive and instead insisted that the food was prepared according to their SOP. We believe there is room for improvement, and we would appreciate a more responsive approach to customer feedback in the future
