"Beautiful hotel located a few kilometers from Kao Lak resort. The hotel is 5 spacious, comfortable bungalows located in a well-maintained secluded area on the bank of a small river.Peace and quiet! To the beach and big stores it is far away on foot, you need a motorcycle to get there without any problems. But this is just our theme: privacy and motorcycle! You can go not only to the nearest beach, but also to the beaches of Kao Lak, walk the streets of the resort, visit the national park with waterfalls ... The design of the bungalows is a separate story. Each item of the interior is made by individual project and by our own hands. Our lodge was Mickey Mouse themed. Perfect cleanliness! Delicious and beautiful breakfast served on the terrace. And the most touching thing is the owners of this hotel, friendly, caring, involved. The impression that we came to visit relatives. We parted as friends) Thank you for your hospitality! Next time without a doubt only to you!"

"We stayed 5 nights here in July during the rainy season. Good: Big rooms, beautiful pool at the hotel wing, nice location, beach access. Service is friendly and accommodating. Fair: breakfast buffet spread is fairly wide, good for the price, they change one or two items everyday. Umbrellas provided because you need it to get between the buildings. Gym is small and equipment is old and some of it is broken, but there's enough space to do floor exercises. Poor: maintenance of some common areas and also the aircon. Inconsistent amenities in rooms We were booked into a deluxe pool view room (2nd floor) which had a moldy smell that we couldn't get rid of. After the 2nd day we asked for a different room and we were upgraded to a pool access room (1st floor), which didn't have a moldy smell. But the hot water didn't work in that room. Also, our original room had a smart Android TV with built-in Netflix and Youtube apps, but the upgraded room did not. Not a huge deal breaker for us as we travel with a HDMI cable but it just seemed strange. Also the pool access room was in the last block (rooms 512 to 524 I think), which abutt the back of the shophouses next to the resort so you can look down into their backyards and hear the people talking even with the door closed). The other buildings don't have this issue as they are not next to any other buildings (for now)."

"Il nostro soggiorno al Merlin Khao Lak è stato fantastico. Ci siamo stati una settimana e ci siamo sinceramente goduti la sensazione di soggiornare in una foresta pluviale ben tenuta e protetta vicino alla spiaggia. La posizione era quasi perfetta, ma la spiaggia in sé non era molto balneabile (inizio della stagione delle piogge, per essere onesti). Fortunatamente, c'erano altre spiagge sulla stessa costa che erano più belle nello stesso periodo dell'anno, quindi abbiamo avuto tempo di fare il bagno in acqua di mare. Anche senza nuotare in mare, l'atmosfera delle onde e dei tramonti ha reso la spiaggia molto piacevole per noi al Merlin. C'è anche una varietà di piscine ben tenute di cui godere, anche se in genere non mi piacciono le piscine personalmente. Anche il servizio e il cibo erano buoni. Il personale era abbastanza gentile, ma sembrava strano che un resort ecologico avesse meno alternative di carne/latticini di tutti i diversi resort/hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Ho trovato semplice ordinare curry senza pesce o carne, ed erano per lo più buoni. Il curry massaman è stato un errore, ma tutto il resto che ho provato era abbastanza buono per il cibo del resort! Abbiamo davvero apprezzato il tocco del canale TV predefinito della stanza, che era un canale informativo sulla fauna selvatica e la manutenzione del resort. Questo, più i vari opuscoli informativi, ci hanno permesso di avere un'esperienza più guidata e istruita mentre facevamo visite turistiche nei giardini eccezionali. È stato davvero divertente incontrare altre persone che stavano solo dando un'occhiata in giro e aspettando di vedere spuntare un animale diverso. Ci siamo goduti il ​​nostro soggiorno. La prossima volta probabilmente torneremo, trascorrendo anche un po' di tempo lungo la costa."

"The staffs are nice and helpful. Best customer service here. The hotel is not an idea who want to surf but here have a surf machine ( pay extra) Massage with Pa'Tammm is the best. Many things need to mantain of hotel wants to keep customer who come with family such as the slide at the kid pool, fitness room and kid club. The restaurant less food option and don't order pizza here it is very disappointed :(. The room is good and comfortable."

"Location : located in good area ( Not so far from the city where you can find many foods and convenience stores). Services : the stuffs were super nice and help you if you need anything. Food : breakfast was excellent! With different varieties of foods, you can try many Thai dishes and also western. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant, but unfortunately it was pricey and the taste was not worth the price. But! The service was really nice!  Amenities:  The swimming pool was wide and both adults and kids can enjoy.  There was a beach where you can watch sunset and do many morning activities the hotel provided. They also have gym, kids playground, and many activities including canoeing. Didn’t really get bored even though it was raining all day.  Very good place to stay with your family or friends. Very kids friendly and I think you will enjoy Khao Lak staying here."

Il resort vive fino ai suoi giardini tropicali nomiati, una spiaggia di prigione e incredibili piscine azzurre mi hanno fatto sentire come se fossi entrato nel paradiso. La struttura della stanza, ispirata dalla Thailandia, con il suono tranquillo delle onde, ha creato la perfetta via di relax, la zona circostante era vivace, ma confortevole, con facile accesso ai mercati locali, ristoranti e negozi, aggiungendo all'atmosfera vibrante. ---------- Un grido speciale alla signorina Pure al suo servizio di prima classe! Quando ho bisogno di aiuto per navigare il trasporto pubblico a Phuket, ha contattato attivamente il personale della compagnia di trasporto e ha aggiunto le mie informazioni di contatto per scoprire se potevo prendere il bus con successo quel giorno. La sua gentilezza e professionalità hanno trasformato ciò che avrebbe potuto essere una esperienza stressante in un viaggio tranquillo e piacevole. Questo livello di cura davvero pone il resort separato! Non esitavo a restare qui ancora una volta per la mia prossima visita a Khaolak. Molto raccomandato per i viaggiatori che cercano sia la bellezza naturale che l'ospitalità!"

"It's very good accomodation butnot far away from Taplamu pier. If you have your own transport is good.. If not it's a little difficult with taxi: grab, bolt and indrive is not working there. But you can ask the staffs to help to call taxi but before more than 20-30 minutes. The room condition are very good: good AC , comfortable mattress, hot water, drinking water, even fridge and TV."
