Stayed in the hotel for 1 Night with family ( Kids) , I am a Gold Elite Member for Marriott. Check-in Experience - The check-in was smooth, the rooms were ready and they upgrade one out of two rooms with the mountain view. Welcome drink was served. I found the lobby entrance a bit crowded, there is a Bar in there, some shopping area and it seems like a LOT of people were there. The tool a pre-auth on the card ( which they did not settle against the final bill ) Rooms, stay and activities - Everything about the rooms was great, neat and clean, had balconies to sit outside, minibar etc. There were a LOT of activities ( Both Complementary and paid ) , one can really enjoy , 100% marks to JW for these. Food - We had food in JW Cafe, one of the other cafe's was closed. There was NO Buffet for dinner, buffet was only available for morning breakfast. The food was Good, we tried some local mountain food and was well made. Service at dinner could have been better. Breakfast experience was really good Check-out - This was the most disappointing part. First of all, they did NOT adjust the pre-auth taken on the card towards the bill, they should be aware of pre-auth on card taken for the rooms and adjust or cancel those if they are using separate billing. Second, I did not see the Dinner bill posted, so I raised the concern about it, they found the bill and started to but BLAIM on us that we gave the wrong room numbers !!!, was totally surprised, If I had given the wrong room numbers, then why will I fix it during check-out ?? It was clearly overlook at their end and they should have just acknowledged that, instead of blaming the customer, not a experience that I want to remember. Thanks to the breakfast team and housekeeping for taking care during the stay.

The stay at JW Marriott Mussoorie was a truly magical and luxurious experience, deserving of a solid five-star rating for its exceptional service, heartfelt hospitality, and mesmerizing ambiance . From the moment of arrival, the entire staff made every guest feel celebrated and welcomed. We were 5 families and friends and had a blast Exceptional Staff Hospitality The Duty Manager Prabal greeted us with warmth and professionalism, embodying an impeccable sense of hospitality throughout our visit. Renuka, the guest experience expert, went above and beyond in orchestrating delightful room decorations that made our friends’ consecutive birthday celebrations over the weekend truly special. Each detail was handled with care and enthusiasm . Unforgettable Dining & Experiences Special thanks to Rohit, the F&B Manager, who curated an unforgettable culinary experience by helping book fresh trout—a highlight for food lovers. Dhruv’s attentive F&B service made each meal seamless and satisfying. The live singing performances by Aditya as well as a fun game of Tambola added spectacular entertainment, creating vibrant evenings for everyone . Immaculate Rooms & Thoughtful Touches Gratitude goes to Shailendra and Dinesh, whose decorating skills and meticulous housekeeping kept our rooms both festive and immaculately clean. The beautiful towel swans crafted daily and thoughtful momentos offered a warm, personalized touch that enhanced our stay . Reception staff and hotel guards were unfailingly polite and always ready to assist, making every moment comfortable and secure. Facilities for Every Guest From the tranquil spa—enjoyed and highly recommended by one of our friends—to the inviting heated pool where children swam joyfully, the property offered abundant opportunities for relaxation and fun . Elegant indoor and outdoor lounge settings, breathtaking mountain views, and pastel balloon arrangements elevated every gathering. Five Star Memories Every interaction, meal, and experience was handled with a caring touch and genuine professionalism. Lovely place with excellent location, full in house amenities and eclectic menu of different in-house restaurants cut down the need to step outside. Great food with warm hospitality and incredible staff service.

After having stayed at ITC Savoy 4 times in the past my friend recommended me to visit this property. I took a chance and booked 3 rooms from 11th June to 13th june , 2025. To begin with: 1. Location: Far off from Mall road. We tried to go to mall road but stucked up in traffic jam due to vehicles going to mall road hotels after having spent mornings at Kempty fall. Had to come back to hotel. This hotel fall on kempty fall road. 2. Check inn: Since all check inns happen around 2 pm it took around 30 minutes to reach room after having been reached on time. Though welcome drink was offered to some people but i wasn’t asked. They could have taken IDs a day before on whatsapp to smoothen checkinn process. 3. Room: Rooms are clean though i found them to be small. Bed was also queen and not king. 4. Bathroom: All amenities were provided. It took few seconds to have hot water in tap after opening it. I liked moisturiser, shower gel and conditioner. Mouthwash was also provided but we didn’t like its taste.Shaving and dental kits were provided too. Good ample number of towels were available. 5.Found property little confusing. Reception area is located at 4 th Floor which is called as lobby while rooms are located in lower floors. I expect reception staff to have given a broad idea while check inn. 6. Details about daily activities was not provided at check inn. Just a printed pamphlet was handed over. Details about the activities and places where they are conducted wasn’t disclosed. 7. Luggage boy expected tips after unloading luggage in room. 8. Kids area known as den had toilets which weren’t clean enough and also please note no hand dryers are available in washroom’s in kids area. Water drainage took lot of time from washbasin to go while washing hands. Staff was also inadequate to attend you 9. There was marriage ceremony on 12th june. Loud music was played till late by the performers without giving consideration to the inconvenience caused to guests who have come for relaxation. 10. Lot of outdoor and indoor activities are available for kids which are chargeable exorbitantly. 11. Moon dal was requested to Chef who made it but serving guy brought arhar dal spoiling our meal. After we had meal then we called up chef. He clarified that he cooked and was later brought. 12. I would like to applaud chef Sunil who made special meals for my 8 year old son who has lot of dietary restrictions and every meal he made was just an awesome. 13. Check out process also took more time than expected may be because of too many checkouts at the same time. 14 . Menu should have been more vast for continental meals and cocktails.Too many choices and options were lacking. 15. Went to swimming pool ***** with my son at 9am. We were informed that no life guard is available and costume is must but the costume shop opens at 10 am.So couldn’t do swimming. 16. Tambola in evening was enjoyable and person who makes it play is also very good. That is something not

We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa, and while the property itself is stunning, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the front desk service. The resort grounds are beautiful — exactly what you would expect from a JW Marriott. The restaurants were excellent, with fantastic food and genuinely warm, attentive service. A special thank you to Megha, who was wonderful and made us feel genuinely cared for. However, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff repeatedly decided what they felt was “best” for us instead of listening to what we actually wanted. Our interaction with Ms. Riya was especially frustrating — she spoke as if reading from a script, showed no willingness to understand our preferences, and offered no personalised assistance. As Platinum bonvoy members, we were neither acknowledged nor offered any support regarding upgrades or benefits. Her approach genuinely impacted our holiday experience, and it’s something we won’t forget. The front desk service here does not reflect the usual JW Marriott standards we are familiar with. Overall, a beautiful resort with wonderful restaurant staff — thank you again to Megha — but the guest experience at the front desk needs serious improvement.

This was my third trip to JW Marriott Mussoorie, and every time when I come here, I feel the same pampering and loving hospitality by the staff. I went there with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the stay for two nights starting from the wonderful cuisines they have in all their restaurants. Experience of evening High tea which they arrange for all their in-house guest is itself very beautifully arranged. The variety of snacks, Tambola, the music which they play. It’s very well done. So hats off to Mr Lamba who organises this stuff. My only feedback is to maintain the temperature of Indoor swimming pool little bit higher as 28 to 30° is pretty cool in winter time. Keep it up to the whole team will definitely visit again in future .
