It's located on a 15-minute drive from the closest village, although it feels you're really off grid. The view is great, and it's really serene. The home itself is good, the electric blankets are great. Only the shower was a bit low for us (but i'm 191cm) Thanks for the great stay.

This is a must for anyone visiting the Catlins! So peaceful to sit and see only the mountains and sheep! Also Tracy and Mike are the best hosts! The rentals are fully equipped and so enjoyable-- absolutely will come again! Be sure to book early!

Perfect place, very quiet, beautiful cottages. Good bed, well maintained and many things to see in the Catlins. The skies are ever changing and the serene sound of the cattle in the distance is comforting. The hosts are welcoming and keep their distance as is suitable for this place.

Wow! Along the road less traveled on the South Island of NZ, it’s hard to express the beauty. Mohua Park was idyllic, where the rainforest meets the green pastures (with plenty of sheep and lambs) along the most southern point of the island. Very comfortable and well thought out accommodations. Very close to some of the best outdoor locations along this route…Slope Point, Nugget Point and Purakaunui Falls..Tracy and Mike were the most gracious and kind hosts, and we will remember our time here! Oh, and their Labrador Retriever Gus was the sweetest, most handsome and lovable boy. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Kahu. It was clean and plenty of room. It was as described. Bed very comfortable. Views beautiful. Very peaceful. Everything provided for breakfast was excellent. There are gravel roads in the area, but they are all over the southern area of New Zealand. They are in good shape. Hosts were very nice. I would definitely book here again if we returned to the Catlins!

We stayed in the Kahu. Very clean, quiet, secluded, AC/heat pump, adequately equipped kitchen with toaster, kettle, coffee machine. Beautiful view and a hot tub to relax in to enjoy that view (with bluetooth speakers!). We would definitely stay again and when we booked , our schedule would only allow 1 night - would have loved to stay more. Only thing I would likely not do is the optional (and they are optional) meals. BBQ pack was a piece of meat and a salad (very nice salad) so for a fuller meal you need to bring other food/ courses. Breakfast - were unwilling to accommodate my dairy avoidance, but the eggs and toast were fine.

We have had a great stay in the lodge of Mohua Parc! Stunning view from the lodge in which all you need is available. The spa outside (with again that beautiful breathtaking view) is super relaxing after a day of hiking in the area! The hints and tips for excursions were great (thanks to the owner we got to take an amazing excursion in Dunedin to view the pinguïns!). We highly recommend this lodge for people who love nature and the stillness of it!

Stunning place to spend the nights! What an incredible view… breathtaking! The home is lovely, comfortable and all you need is available! Dive into the warm spa after a day oh hiking, climbing and traveling and we felt 'as good as new'. The spa provides the great view as well! Thanks to the advise the owner gave us, we have seen beautiful places and had also the best excursion in Dunedin! Highly recommend this place!

Stunning location, view is beautiful and the setting is very peaceful. The cottage was immaculately presented and had everything we needed. Tracy was very welcoming and generous sharing her knowledge of the area and giving us recommendations of what to see and do. We wish we had booked a longer stay and would be keen to come again.
