Hotel LIVVO Costa Taurito & Aquapark

Terrible allinclusive-drinks, very few food options and incredibly boring and non-tasty dinner. Drinks taste like chlorine, also the coffee and sodas. The room was very outdated and worn out. Felt dirty and old. Many of the things that is shown on their homepage about the hotel, isn't even at the actual hotel! You have to walk to other hotels in the area if you want to use the gym, or you want a drink in the night bar. I am very disappointed and will never return to this hotel again.

Upon arrival I was placed in room 115 on the ground floor - the apartment was clean and tidy - room serviced daily - food and drink was acceptable - staff were pleasant and hard working - bus stop within walking distance - all in all a reasonable experience

This hotel has horrendous food as its just the same put out from lunch to evening meal the all inclusive snack bar the food was inedible I'm there till Wednesday 31st January 2024 I've not eaten since Thursday last week I've ever ever known anything like it I've spent a fortune on the cost of the holiday as I'm having to take the 2 14teen year old out to feed them on top of what I payed for an All inclusive holiday horribl horrible hotel playa taurito

The Hotel is a part of a resort and from what we've seen and spoken with different people, it is the worst!! It is positioned behind another one also, and you can't see nothing, all the rest have Seaview. On our 1st day we had to call Jet2 because we couldn't eat in this hotel (Ian was very helpful on the phone), the food here was next to none, so we had a pass to eat at another hotel on the same resort. In the area is not much to do, so if you want a nice night out, you need to go to Puerto Rico, Mogan, or other cities. Rooms are very dated, with dirty floors ,wood warped, bathroom taps rusty. Even cleaners do not clean properly, it was hair on the bathroom floor for days before anyone cleaned it. The entertainment is also very basic. The aqua park reopened, but for us it was way too cold, we mainly have been by the sea, and that in Puerto Rico ,Anfi or Mogan, because Taurito is way to wavy. Overall, avoid Taurito, they're way better places to stay in the area, the cities are not far from each other, we used buses every day to get away from this resort! So, believe the bad reviews about Costa Taurito!!!!

L'hôtel et les chambres sont bien. Le personnel ne parle et ne comprend pas le Français. Seul un des membres qui n'est pas toujours présent le comprend et le parle un peu. La nourriture est répétitive matin, midi, soir. Le matin, il y a de la charcuterie, on n'en mange pas, j'ai demandé pour en avoir un peu le midi, cela m'a été refusé. Les vins ' blanc, rosé, rouge ' sont aigres ', on ne demande pas des grands crûs, mais pour un pays producteur cela laisse à désirer. Nous avons connu beaucoup mieux à Lanzarote et à Fuerteventura.

With such a mixed amount of reviews I was worried about staying at this hotel however once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is small which I prefer, our room was spacious, clean and had what we needed. WiFi worked in room also which was a bonus for evenings when we wanted to watch movies on iPad and chill out Pool was decent size - however no floats allowed or ball. Tony kids pool was freezing! So my kids would jump in that then in main pool to make it feel warm!! I mean it’s February so the pool wasn’t going to be as warm as summertime but the weather was absolutely wonderful and cooling off in a cool pool was fine and actually didn’t stop people using it or the kids! We also visited the waterpark which is easily accessible by coming out of the hotel and taking the lift down. It’s a couple minutes walk and included with the hotel. Food and drink/ice-cream at the waterpark is also reasonable. Or you can pop out and return as many times as you like if you don’t want to spend money! We took our own water but did have food etc - usually stuff pizza, chips/nuggets etc The water was cold!! Again being the time of year and it’s salt water. Slides are good fun and we visited a couple times The evening entertainment is also down between all the hotels, plus there is a arcades, mini golf and trampolines My 7 year old enjoyed going down after dinner for an hour or 2 The shows we managed 1 and it was usual holiday stuff dancers / kids mini disco This place is good for families with young kids. Teenagers may get bored as no much aimed for them The resort in all felt safe and friendly The beach is down the end - it’s black sand. We walked down one morning before the waterpark. Looked wavy so wasn’t for us! We ate out on the last night again by the beachfront are some restaurants offering tapas/pizza which was decent and not too expensive If you like to get out an about there is a bus stop just up road which you can take and go to porta rico We took a taxi to Playa Morgan for the day which I highly recommend. Beautiful beach and on Fridays they have a market some lovely bits avail to buy Ok so back to hotel - a lot complaining about food and drinks - we never had an issue but aren’t fussy! Always food to eat and was always tasty. Some of the stuff looked a bit unusual - not our normal palate but we gave it a go and was always pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was.

After booking this holiday I looked at the reviews and got a bit worried about the food comments..but after spending 11 nights here I felt that you can't please everyone.. the food was great planty of choice the rice pudding and ice cream was the best😋 but in all breakfast ,lunch and diner was all great well presented lots of food to choose from fresh salads there was choice for everyone. The chicken was the only thing that at times was not properly cooked..the rooms are very cleaned and being a head housekeeper ofcourse I check everywhere.yes the furniture is a bit worn out but the paint work was all well keeped up..the staff was all very friendly ..taurito is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The beds was very comfortable.. definitely worth the money we paid ..

States r in this hotel quite good price but the rooms are not as in paint on the pictures! Very run down room so is everything in the hotel as in facility wise. Stuff in the restaurant are very friendly so are the cleaners. Food is ok but it would be good to do more on varieties rather then lock and fish almost everyday. Lovely water park though

We thought it was great! Well priced, clean, friendly staff. Lots to do for kids. Yes it’s a little dated but for the price we felt it was good value for money. The food was standard all inclusive. Always a bit of choice, always refreshed, lots of fruit..loved the Canarian potatoes. As for the drain smells etc anyone who has lived in countries that do plumbing differently to Northern Europe- this is just standard. No u-bends= smells. This isn’t specific to this hotel. My only changes would be- update bathroom suites, extra comfortable pillows. One isn’t sufficient for an adult especially with wooden headboards and painting the walls yellow dates the room- paint it white. Tv should be connected to WiFi so we can stream our own Netflix etc when relaxing. The pool was great. The water park was fab although yes it can nip your back on certain slides. Just sit up. It’s great value for the money. The staff were efficient and friendly. Yes you have to pay extra for mini golf etc but yet to find a resort where this isn’t the case and if it was you would pay triple the price for the hotel. We loved our break.
