Green Dragon Organic Farm and B&B

Great breakfast. Loved meeting all the animals.....super friendly and inviting. The stay is as described. If you don't like the country or animals go to a motel. Visit the grist mill just down the road. Very charming.

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Dragon! Stephan was so welcoming and kind, and the b & b was cosy and lovely!

My parents, in their 70s/80s stayed here after booking through ***********. The host was surprised to see them, even though they'd booked a day in advance. He apologised that he hadn't checked his emails and asked them to come back later when the room was ready. The room, according to my parents, was adequate, although "tea and coffee" facilities (advertised on ***********) was just a kettle and some tea bags in the room. The bed was too low to be comfortable for my mother. She had trouble getting in and out of bed, and didn't sleep well. The breakfast was a simple omelette and German rye bread which my parents enjoyed but it was not a Full English/Irish breakfast as advertised on ***********. Tea at breakfast was a cup of boiling water with a teabag to the side. The host was unable to second cup of coffee for my mother when she requested it. Overall, I am disappointed that the standard of comfort promised to my parents on *********** did not meet with the reality of this otherwise charming Bed and Breakfast.

Our host was wonderful. A friendly welcome was followed by a helpful hint concerning local roads. Our breakfast was excellent and served with a smile.

Tin tin and the goats were an added delight.

Endroit très agréable et ressourçant entouré d’arbres et d’animaux (chat, chèvres, oies, coq) ainsi que de nombreux oiseaux. Propriétaire sympathique et excellent petit déjeuner offert. Si vous cherchez un endroit différent et apaisant, c’est le bon choix!
