City Centre Hotel

The location is really convenient and it IS at the city centre! Rooms are kinda small and so are the bathrooms. However the biggest issue was with the reception staff attitude. He only took cash, said his bank/card machine isn’t working. So we had to pay upfront in cash. And when we wanted to extend our stay, we were charged again in cash and negotiated with one guy. The morning reception manager didn’t even know that we paid and he called to ask me to checkout. When I told him that we paid for an extended stay and to talk to his colleague about the same, he hung up on me. While checking out he was rude again, like saying I should be clear about the checkouts time. As if we were staying free of cost. What a joke! Put a bad taste on our experience since it was the last day of our stay in the country.

For the cost it was SIMPLY THE BEST! Pros 1. Centrally located. Everything is close by. Sites, monuments, shopping plazas, old city. It sit on top of a great restaurant, surrounded by many good ones around. A park right in front. 2. The rooms are decent size & clean with all amenities. Heated. Tea & kettle. The bathroom is small but clean. 3. The staff is prompt & very helpful. One of them came to the airport to pick us up. Behrouz at the reception was helpful with our luggage and taxi. 4. The beds are comfortable. Cons 1. It gets hot in the night, we couldn’t control the heat. Highly highly recommended! Don’t think twice before booking this hotel. Spend your money saved, elsewhere!

Wanted to like this place - location was good, staff were nice and friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was good - but when a hotel fails to provide some key basic things, Im sorry it cancels out all the positives…. There was no water in the room for some hours one day… and then again next day. The reception said the whole city didnt have water - well, outside the sprinklers were running and the breakfast room in the hotel was washing dishes, so the reception wasnt telling the truth. No water meant we couldnt flush the toilet when we checked out… There was construction going on for HOURS also one day and then the next day. It was happening in the lower floors of the building, and the structural vibrations were so intense, even ear-plugs didnt help. Maybe the construction was out of their control, and maybe even the water they couldnt fix, but Im sorry, the room was also not that cheap, it’s certainly not the guest’s problem to put up with those thjngs…. And there was no offer of any kind of compensation - we paid the same amount as a guest who had water the entire stay and didnt have to deal with construction noise - this isnt fair. So Im sorry, I have to give a low score.

The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a building which is adjacent to a park. The entrance is between Fish and Bread and an Italian restaurant. I had the biggest room of the hotel and thus more costly, very comfortable bedding, plenty of space to place my suitcase, only the desk area where I placed my notebook was a bit small. Internet was fast, kettle, tea, coffee available. The bathroom had a rain-shower which might be a problem for some persons; the light in the bathroom was a bit dim for shaving. Every day towels in sealed plastic. Viktor (his official name I forgot) is the star of the staff, so friendly and helpful, great guy. Breakfast was good. The price-performance ratio is very good.

Удобное расположение, в самом центре города, все рядом, в шаговой досупности все достопримечательности, 5 минут ходьбы до метро. На первом этаже здания располагается ночной клуб, кафешки. В номере комфортная кровать, подушки. Рекомендую!!!

Плюсы: очень обходительные и вежливые, готовые помочь сотрудники. Номер - вполне себе чистый. Спутниковое телевидение с русскими каналами. Минусы: почему-то поддон в душевой кабинке был грязным(((( Стульчак на унитазе не фиксировался в поднятом положении, неудобно, понимаете ли)) Очень тонкие стены. В соседнем номере плакал ребенок, мать успокаивала, можно было разобрать чуть ли не все слова. Короче, без берушей нормально не выспитесь. Кофе на завтрак - это не кофе, в лучшем случае цикорий. Завтрак не имеет ничего общего с европейским, лучше потратить свои 5$ где-нибудь в другом месте. Прочее: центр города, внизу, на первом этаже, кафе и винный бар, музыка и шумновато.
