El hotel precisa una reforma urgente. No todo vale. Colazione buffet con prodotti di qualità molto bassa. Spaventoso succo, caffè e caldo. - Bene. Buona attenzione in reception. Durante la colazione, assenza di personale in generale. Camera con mobili molto vecchi.

È la vecchia cliché di voi ottenere quello che pagate per. Non ci siamo resi conto che il tavolo completo non includeva nemmeno l'acqua di tappeto con i nostri pasti. Ci sono stati prelevati $3.60 per una giochi di acqua di tappeto così scelto di andare tutto inclusivo. Abbiamo finito di pagare per un giorno che non potevamo usare perché sono stati raccolti alle 9:45. Josina al ricevimento è andata sopra e oltre per aiutarci a guidare intorno alla città. Sebbene l'hotel sia una posizione privilegiata per la spiaggia, è un hotel per residenti spagnoli non turisti, poiché Josina era l'unica persona che parlava inglese alla ricezione. Quando arrivammo pagavamo per un frigo che non era stato consegnato, quindi doveva cacciare più di una volta. Il letto era pieno di letti. Se siete tutti Inclusivo essere attento che questo non include il bar sulla spiaggia quindi dovrete viaggiare indietro e fuori per ottenere bevande e snack. Questo hotel è perfetto se ti piace la spiaggia ma come con l'hotel se non parli spagnolo potresti dover usare Google Translate per comunicare. If you're on the first floor be prepared to hear the hoover in reception from 6am onwards. Anche al primo piano la tua stanza è pulita molto presto al mattino.

I stayed here for two weeks for a university program. As I was there for a while it's easiest to do a bulleted list of pros/cons: Pros: * Location: Directly on Plaça de la Font, so if you're someone who wants to be right next to restaurants, bars, clubs and shops this is for you; also close to the Cathedral, the old town and the Roman ruins (amphitheater, circus, forum); a short walk from Platja del Miracle, a clean, lifeguarded beach where I was always able to find good space no matter the day or time. * I had a double room at the back of the property, whose window faced onto another flat but with a small terrace between us. Thus it was quiet and got direct sunlight most of the day. The room had an AC unit that cooled the room quickly, and also had decent shelf and hanger space given the room size (small, but that's typical of European hotel rooms, especially in old buildings). * The room was cleaned every day—towels changed every day, sheets changed every few days. Post-COVID I've come to expect the opposite—that hotel rooms will only be cleaned once a week or upon request—so that was a pleasant surprise. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Cons: * Automated check-in—by far the biggest con. The hostel didn't send our trip coordinator, who wasn't in-country, the access code to the front door, though it was supposed to have been sent 24h before. So I arrived, the first in my group to get there, not realizing this would be needed. Eventually after waiting outside for some time another guest happened to be going inside, and let me in. The machine was wonky at first but eventually worked, at least for me; other guests checking in at the same time as the later arrivals in my group, however, had worse luck, and I'm not sure if they were ever able to reach a Forum rep to access their rooms. * No on-site staff, poorly-manned hostel phone line—we had a situation in our group later that week where a group member forgot their key in their room on their way to dinner, and ended up having to sleep in the small lobby area overnight as nobody from the Forum number provided was picking up the phone. The pin number the automated machine was requesting in order to issue a new key had never been sent to our group coordinator either, hence why the group member was never able to get a new key issued from the machine. * Other people in my university group had single rooms in the center of the property. Thus they did not ever have direct sunlight; their rooms either faced a wall or a disused lift shaft at the center of the property. This is just something for people to be aware of when they're making the bookings; the room photos on the site are not representative of most of the rooms of the property. * Accessibility: there is no lift/elevator, and it is a four-story property with steep flights of stairs between floors. If anyone in your party is disabled or otherwise has mobility or fitness issues, or if you simply have a lot of luggage,

Ottimo hotel nel centro di Tarragosa, rapporto qualità / prezzo perfetto, pulizia super e ottima pressione dell'acqua calda, silenzio, vicino al mercato dove si può mangiare e fare la spesa per strada. Un ringraziamento speciale allo staff dell'hotel! Aiutato a risolvere il problema con l'auto a noleggio! Grazie ragazzi!

Hotel situato in pieno centro di Tarragona, unico problemino trovare parcheggio gratuito in strada ma ci sono nella zona più parcheggi sotterranei a 5-6 euro giornalieri; Per quanto riguarda la struttura il gestore ed il personale sono molto disponibili, hotel molto pulito e accogliente, le camere dispongono di aria condizionata; Il gestore mette a disposizione un tavolo con piatti, bicchieri, posate, microonde e frigorifero (in comune) per chi vuole consumare i propri pasti; Per la colazione in vendita delle capsule di caffè Lavazza ad un prezzo conveniente; Nell'insieme siamo stati veramente molto soddisfatti e se ci sarà una prossima visita a Tarragona sicuramente sceglieremo ancora e senza esitare l'hotel Pigal.

Nell'antica città della piccola città, l'hotel sperimenta la faccia della vita urbana della gente locale a poche distanza.Vicino alla cattedrale.Ci sono parcheggi gratuiti intorno.Anche se l'hotel è nella vecchia città, il design di frontguard è bello.Molto caldo e caratteristico hotel. La piccola città si trova tra Taragon e Salo, e può raggiungere il parco tematico di Ferrari e il parco tematico di avventura per cinque minuti di guida.

Diciamo subito una cosa: questa parte di costa ospita uno dei più grandi poli chimici mai visti. Raffineria+porto sono grandi come una città, e perfettamente visibili dalla spiaggia e dall'albergo, come pure il via vai delle petroliere Ma questo fattore non ha minimamente influito sulla piacevolezza e assoluto benessere della vacanza, in questo albergo dove siamo stati accolti con professionalità e cortesia familiare assieme. Il personale è per lo più giovanissimo, attento e concentrato, sempre sorridente; ben coordinato e in armonia con colleghe/i più esperte/i. La pulizia è m a n i a c a l e, eppure discreta. Dall'albergo si esce direttamente in spiaggia, e la spiaggia è favolosa: vasta, sabbia fine, pubblica e gratuita, dotata di svariati servizi -toilette, docce, lavapiedi, bagnino, aree giochi per bimbi, super attrezzature da fitness-. Acqua del mare cristallina. Tutto libero e gratuito, tutto ripetutamente soggetto a pulizia e manutenzione. Come il verde, curato e rigoglioso. La spiaggia e il lungo mare sono costantemente presidiate anche da personale delle forze dell'ordine. La formula che noi abitualmente scegliamo in vacanza è notte+colazione: ma quest' anno l'albergo è stato una vera ”calamita”, attraendoci con cene a tema e/o serate musicali, per cui per molte cene siamo rimasti in albergo (a prezzo risibile per gli ospiti) oppure ci siamo tornati per ascoltare musica dal vivo fronte mare: cene con una grande e variegata offerta a buffet di piatti anche tipici (spagnoli e/o prettamente locali), cucinati e presentati in modo raffinato. Lo chef, da applauso! Non ci era mai capitato che nel reparto piatti caldi ci fosse del personale fisso a disposizione degli ospiti, sia a colazione (per omelette, uova strapazzate, pancake..) che a cena (hamburger, spiedini, pizze preparate al momento e sfornate in continuazione..). L'albergo è in una posizione anche strategica: in macchina, a 15 minuti da Tarragona (Storia) e da Reus (Modernismo, Vermouth ), nemmeno 10 minuti da Salou (turismo di massa!); 20 minuti da Cambrils (raffinata, molti negozietti carini). É stato molto difficile il rientro a casa dalla vacanza quest'anno; più del solito. Consiglieremo senz'altro agli amici e, magari, noi si ritorna!

Firstly, Average hotel.. not 4*, wouldn't go back. We have just got back from 8nights staying here and it's a mixed bag! PROS: Rooms not massive but clean and perfectly fine. In a quiet area, yet walking distance to beach/shops/Port Aventura etc.. (20mins) Food ok.. got better through the week but had much better selections at previous 4* hotels. Pool not massive but never too full, Aqua dance-aerobics good fun at 11.30. AIR CON - mentioned a few times in other reviews but ours was fine CONS (a few!) Only a handful of staff are friendly, most are just rude! my husband was completely ignored the first time we had a look in at the Irish Bar in the hotel, waiting to order drinks, time after time, if you were Spanish and walked up to the bar, they got served. We just left and didn't go in again. No Tea/Coffee facilities in room.. Balcony but no table or anywhere to hang towels, swimwear etc, had to lay them onto the chairs we were meant to be able to sit on! .. definitely NOT 4* standard Water - none readily available!! They charge 2 euro for a 500ml bottle of water! We discovered LEVEL -2 (where mini club/games room are) are vending machines, where you can get a large bottle (1.5l/2l can't remember the size) for 2 euros!! Don't pay bar prices for water! Note: No drink included with the evening meal, we just got a water (as above) but for 3 euro as you can't take your own drink in! Loungers - there were a selection of people who would run to get a lounger at 9.30! But there were plenty available, after this time! Quite a few were damaged though, most didn't sit up/not adjustable. Not the most comfortable if you wanted to read! Entertainment - Average, but then again its rare to be blown away by hotel entertainment! All VERY Spanish orientated. Very little Spanish translated. We did try bingo one evening.. gave up in the end! There was a movie quiz one night which was good. Reception staff - It turns out, were not particularly helpful - asked how best to get to Parc Sama and were told taxi, as the bus would take a long time. Told around 10-15euros. They ordered one for us, it was taking quite a while so we cancelled it and decided to walk into the centre and the taxi area. We called in the Tourist centre on the way down. Turns out a taxi would have cost us near 25-30 euros! They also did say its not an easy place to get to by bus (takes two) So we ruled that out.. Asked about breakfast as we were being picked up at 7.25am (it starts a 7.30am) I was told we could go in at between 6.30-7am to get cold items etc.. but they would be cleaning 7-7.30. When we came down at 6.45, I spoke to someone at reception (night time staff) he looked confused said there was nothing out yet, only the biscuits and tea/coffee machines. he said we could of course get a coffee etc, when we went in, there had clearly been other early leavers, as there were pre made plates on one table (fruit/yogurt etc) It seems the previous receptionist failed to mention that this

I chose this hotel which is (advertised as) a 4-star superior. Lovely room with a pool view. But ... NO kettle or tea/coffee-making facilities. Big oversight. Balcony has DECK CHAIRS - not good if you have back or mobility issues. A point off for these issues. Wi-fi? Don't bet on it. Erratic to say the very least. And if you're searching for an English channel or two on the telly (maybe you're missing your Corrie!) forget it. Sky News and that's it. Germans and French well-catered for, however. Lose another point. I cannot comment on the food as I was room only.
