Hotel Sonar Bangla Tarapith

Pathetic stay, room given to us was 310 in 2nd floor. The bedsheet was unclean, duvet was not dirty. Location is not that great, room given to us practically had no view, food is below average, even after clearly specifying requirements the food served at restaurant was frozen prawns and hilsa fish was not worth mentioning. Don't be fooled by the name, sonar bangla is no way related to brand itc and service is just not up to the mark. Rest nothing worth mentioning. Have never seen any property where the staff is focusing more towards enjoying amenities like games etc rather than cleaning the lobby which has serious fly infestation issue. Pathetic experience and would never stay in this property ever.

unfortunately, i'd very bad experiance at sonar bangla tarapith. i'm furnishing reasons below 👇 (1) basic animities like hand wash, hand towel, lufa, bucket & mug etc were not available in bathroom. even on demand it was not provided. (2) night bulb or any provision for night lamp was not available in room. (3) service was very poor. (4) rate of food and beverage are very high and unreasonable. this may be assed in light of the fact that cost of one bottle of bislery water of 750 ml was charged as ₹ 140/-😢 (4) real value of room rent and foods etc are not availed....i cannot recommend anybody to stay in sonar bangla tarapith.

Room rent is very high, as compared with hospitality, food quality and taste not so good, environment is v good

Hotel is clean and staff is courteous. Room service is excellent but the restaurant is not good.

The best place to be when you are at Tarapith , warm staff , clean well maintained property and conveniently located. Food is a bit expensive but very well prepared and served hot. I will surely come back and recommend this place as this a blessing in disguise

The pillow were very soft we like it. The room was very neat. The swimming pool water was cold which we liked and the think which we like is game zone and swimming poop. The taste of food was really good. It is so good and beautiful place that my children were not ready to come they really missing the hotel .
