Hotel Tamariu

We come to this hotel regularly for a drink and a snack. All the staff are extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you, always a smile on their faces, and a friendly chat when they're not too busy. Beautiful aspect overlooking the bay of Tamariu

Centrally located family run hotel in Tamariu with lovely ocean front rooms with large terraces. Ideal location in this small costal town with lots of restaurants. Comfortable beds with large bathroom.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights in a sea view room. This hotel is just so lovely . Friendly service throughout, all staff helpful and attentive. Our room was beautiful, really clean and beautifully furnished. The sea view was stunning. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. The atmosphere of the hotel and attached cafe/bar is very relaxed and it is right on the beach . We loved it all . Thank you to all the staff !

Isn't it wonderful when you stay at a place that exceeds your expectations. So it was when we stayed at this hotel. Firstly the bay is absolutely beautiful. Add to that a hotel right by the beach run by 2 delightful sisters, Anna and Susan. Nothing was a problem or was too much trouble either for them or their staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent and the breakfast was very good and geared to suit every taste. We live in a beautiful area on the Cote d'Azur, south of France, so are used to breathtaking views. But the views of Tamariu combined with such friendly people in the hotel made our stay special. We will certainly be back!!! Thank you Anna, Susan and your staff ;-) Donald

If you are looking for a hotel in Tamariu, you can't beat Hotel Hostalillo. I believe it is the only full service hotel in town. It is not a luxury property in any sense, but the rooms are clean and very adequate. It is located right on a nice, protected beach. It is very well maintained. The hotel is family friendly. Small children (in our case grandchildren) are welcome. It has a nice restaurant and a great bar (and bartender) with a veranda overlooking the beach. The staff are super and very accommodating--daily providing us with nice towels and loaning us an beach umbrella for the beach. We bought inexpensive beach chairs and another umbrella at a nearby shop which we donated to the hotel's lending stock. It does not have on site parking. There is taxi service, at a price, from the Barcelona airport. We have been several times and will return. The price/quality ratio is appropriate.

Auf die Empfehlung von "Stollis Tauchbasis" haben wir dieses Hotel gebucht und diese Entscheidung nicht bereut. Der Email-Verkehr vor Reisebeginn war sehr informativ und die Rückmeldungen auf unsere Fragen erfolgten sehr schnell. Das Hotel wird von den Schwestern Ana & Susan mit viel Herzlichkeit geleitet, der Hotelgast steht stets im Vordergrund. Für uns gab es nichts zu beanstanden, das Frühstücksbuffet war umfnagreich, dass Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön mit seitlichem Meerblick und Balkon, war mit viel Liebe und neuen Möbeln eingerichtet, schönes Bad, Klimaanlage sowie Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank waren auf unserem Zimmer vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (SPAR-Markt) fußläufig zu erreichen, das gleiche gilt für den Strand und die Promenade. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel allerdings erst in der Hauptsaison, an der Rezeption kann man aber auch ein Taxi buchen. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Ute & Uli

Accueil très sympa. Tout était parfait. Chambre petite mais très lumineuse avec une très belle terrasse bien abritée du vent. J’ai bien profité du Soleil. Excellente literie. Salle de bain avec douche très spacieuse. Le seul restaurant ouvert à Tamariü le soir était celui le l’hôtel et c’était très bon. Serveur très sympa. Bref, je reviendrai !

Quatrième fois qu'on vient séjourner dans cet hôtel qu'on considérait exceptionnel... Jusqu'à aujourd'hui... Chambre à plus de 200 euros la nuit et on se voit refuser une cafetière (à la quelle on a toujours eu le droit auparavant). La réponse : on a une chambre qui ne bénéficie pas d'un tel appareil (?). A noter que les séjours précédants on a choisi des chambres moins chères et pourtant on avait une cafetière. Gros couac. On ne reviendra plus :) Cuarta vez que venimos a este hotel que considerábamos excepcional... Hasta hoy. Habitación de más de 200 euros por noche y nos indican que no tenemos derecho a una cafetera en la habitación (siempre habíamos tenido una incluso en habitaciones de menor costo). Puede parecer un detalle pero un hotel que escatima en este tipo de gastos es miserable. No volveremos :)
