Best of the best luxury tent in Masai Mara , the perk is private olare conservancy which you can get down from the open vehicle to the sundowner spot. All the staffs are so professional and knowledgable. Foods are above and beyond, I love fish at the lunch ! And Dal curry at the dinner! GM Leaky is super professional , all the members are very well welcome all the clients. It is real exclusive yet luxury. They are the ranger to look after us during the sundowner time. The staff put hot water pocket inside the bed when they giving turn down for your room. They do laundry for you for free without extra charge. All the alcohol drinks are also included with the package.

This is the second time we have stayed in this small romantic hotel with interesting rooms in the middle of the savannah. The rooms are very spacious (much larger than in city hotels) and you don't even have the feeling that you are in a tent. The staff is very friendly, the service in general is at the highest possible level. The food is even better than last year. And, what is most characteristic of this hotel-resort, you have two safaris a day and it cannot happen that you do not see 100% of what you want! And all this very close to the resort with very little driving. We only stayed two nights this year, We only had three safaris (one with an outdoor sunset dinner) but we saw everything...lions eating their catch, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, hyenas, hippos, zebras, antelopes, eagles and other animals. I highly recommend!

There are few places that make you feel home while providing an attention to the customer second to none and Kempinski Olare Mara is definitely one of those!! Food is exquisite, tents are spacious and beautiful, clean and comfortable and the staff is just ANOTHER LEVEL. Everyone is so professional, incredibly kind and lovely and they will do absolutely everything to make you live one of the best safari experiences you've ever had. I have had many safaris and game drives across Africa; however, I had never had a guide tour as passionate, knowledgeable and good as Erick, who would do absolutely EVERYTHING to ensure you get to see all the animals and big predators. In only 2 days we saw 13 lions, a leopard, elephants and giraffes as well as 6 lions and a group of hyenas eating 2 buffalos. If you need to choose a place where to stay definitely come here!!

The staff were outstanding and were all about safety while treating us to “luxury” tent accommodations. The meals were excellent throughout our stay. We cared for nothing while listening to the sounds of hippos by the nearby river. We saw more animals than I could have imagined.

We spent an amazing time at the Kempinski Olare Mara, the team goes out of its way to make the guests feel welcome and answer their every needs. Our special thanks go to Dixon for his vast knowledge of the land and the fauna, he was able to communicate his passion for his culture and country. We would not miss to thank Dominic, Moses, Benson and everyone else at the tent camp for their kindness. We left with nothing but unforgettable memories and with the wish to come back soon.

Brilliant safari! The tents are great, the food is perfect and the safari is unbeatable! Lewis and David were our brilliant safari guides, and helped us see some amazing animals, including a lion hunt, cheetah and leopards! Cannot recommend this camp enough.

My husband and I went to Olare Mara in June 2024, for a celebration of my birthday. What a wonderful experience! The staff and hotel were exceptional. Ben picked us up from the airstrip for the drive to the camp. On the way, he showed us some of the wonders that we would see in greater detail when we went on the game drives in the early mornings and evenings. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Dominic, Leaky and his team, and the Masai men in traditional dress met us with a welcome drink and then the lunch that followed was just great. There wasn’t a meal the chef prepared and Moses and his staff, including the always smiling Lewis served, that was not delicious. There were lots of great food options. The special breakfast and sun-downer drinks on my birthday on the savannah with the sunrise and sunset were experiences that were thrilling . Wildebeest were in the distance , the leopard tree in silhouette, was like a postcard. For the game drives, our driver and guide Alex was just fantastic. He was very attentive, kept us comfortable and informed. He spent a lot of time taking us to try to find the cheetah and leopard, but unfortunately it was not to be. We saw an abundance of other animals - lions, zebras, buffalo, elephants, hippopotamuses, gazelles, giraffes, guinea fowl, jackals, hyenas, secretary birds- all easily accessible and just beautiful. A visit to a Masai village was eye opening and educational. Our tent (#5) - tent being an understatement- was luxurious and comfortable. The hot water bottles were a nice touch for the cooler nights. Jackson kept our tent beautiful and well appointed with coffee, teas and water. The turndown service was greatly appreciated. This was “glamping” at its finest!!! The only minor drawback was that there was no wi-if in our tent , but we didn’t really need it. It was enough to just turn in early in the really huge and comfortable bed in order to be up for our 6:30 a.m. game drive. Especially, while hearing the hippos honking and grunting outside. One highlight of many, was that the staff prepared a bush- cook buffet dinner on the night of my birthday and the staff sang happy birthday in Swahili and danced as they brought the birthday cake. Another highlight of the trip was being able to plant a tree in my mother’s honour just outside our tent. I expected the Masai Mara to be beautiful and the experience, amazing. It was made ever more so by the warmth, welcome and hospitality of the staff who made the trip a truly memorable one. Our sincere gratitude and praise for an amazing experience.

This resort is a dream, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Dominic, Kelvin, Moses and the rest of the staff were exceptional. We were greeted with smiles everyday. For any meal, Kelvin knew exactly what the kids would want to drink and ensured we had a great meal. Compliments to the chef- the food was top notch and super fresh. The soups were beyond amazing. Moses always checked in on us during our meal and ask us about our day . Always providing us with great facts about the conservancy. Dominic ensured we were set for any journey. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety. Alex was our expert driver, no road was left undiscovered to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. He went above and beyond for us every single day- he was fabulous! Lynette was a wonderful masseuse who ensured we were relaxed. The staff always ensured our safety and would walk us back to our tents nightly. As a family we have traveled extensively , this by far is our top favorite destination of them all. You can tell that the staff at the resort take pride in making your stay as perfect as possible. I look forward to visiting again - this will be our one and only choose at the Mara.

The Masai Mara is home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife you will encounter during an Africa safari. This quiet corner of the Masai Mara and gateway from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara is remote and less crowded. The place to be for an authentic safari experience. The Kempinski camp is luxurious with excellent service. First class management from Dominic. The safari guide , Alex was extremely knowledgeable, he made every day an absolute joy and an amazing adventure. We saw all the animals close up , thanks his excellent knowledge and skill. Superb food and good selection of wine, which is all included. Returning next year for the Mass Migration, which is a must.
