First time in Takayama and wanted to try staying in Ryohan style hotel; took about 6 mins walk from Takayama station to hotel; not obvious to find the main door; no lift but staff will carry the luggages to room for us; love the free breakfast and unlimited choice of tea to consume throughout the day; comfortable bed and clean room; impressed with 2 sinks and space there but the shower area is quite small

小而精緻，五人住的聯通房，一邊是榻榻米房間一邊是抬高的雙床房，兩邊都有獨立的浴室，可惜温泉沒有開放，住了兩天早飯也是不同的，一天三明治色拉藍莓奶昔一天羊角包色拉和香蕉奶昔，離JR高山站步行大約十分鐘，離高山市內高山陣屋都很近，很棒的入住體驗，下次還會來！

酒店地理位置方便，距離車站約500米，隔30米左右就有711。 可預約時間的包場浴室必選，不要飲料每人1000日幣。 服務特別特別好，有問必答，甚至幫忙看時刻表和行程攻略我真的太感動♥（｡￫v￩｡）♥ 咖啡和茶在大堂可以暢飲，去便利店買個牛奶還可以自製奶茶。 房間內窗景美，遇到下雪天一整個愜意啊

我們一家四口訂的是家庭別墅，是座獨立的小樓，寬敞乾淨，設施齊全，有室內泡湯池。小樓的位置特別好，鬧中取靜，距離車站步行10分鐘以內，步行到宮川早市和老街，衹需要兩三分鐘。高山真的是個特別美好的地方！

房間大小在日本屬於比較大的，對於二胎家庭還是友好的。但是我們入住的這個房間外面有個類似空調外機的設備，整晚都在轟轟的響，晚上想找工作人員解決問題，但是已經沒有工作人員在前台。這點還是比較失望的，五星級酒店的收費標準，服務衹有三星的標準。除此以外，房間就在上下樓梯的旁邊，每當有人上下樓，就會伴隨着咚咚咚的響聲，如果介意以上這些問題的話，不太推薦住這家旅店。

Accogliente e molto pulita. La stanza era molto bella, ordinata, di ottimo gusto. Sala comune con the e caffè ad ogni ora e tavoli e divani per il relax. Possibilità di fare il bucato (lavatrice +asciugatrice) ad un prezzo modico. Personale gentilissimo. Possibilità di prenotare una delle due stanze da bagno private per un’esperienza molto tipica. Posizione molto comoda sia per le vie di Takayama sia per la stazione dei treni e degli autobus. Assolutamente consigliato.

From the moment we arrived to a warm reception, everything was perfectly set up for us to relax fully and enjoy our stay in Takayama. Service is excellent and nothing too much trouble including providing some excellent local knowledge and recommendations on restaurants, transport, events and hiking/ activities. Beautiful private onsen you can book and which includes lovely local hinoki products to enhance the experience. Only slight improvement might be offering a more varied breakfast. While it was delicious, it was very dairy heavy and some lighter fruit and cereal options would be a great add. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the deluxe loft room and there were just two of us. It would be cosy for 4! However the hotel does everything it can to ensure that its guests have a comfortable stay. Because we booked direct we had a rate which included breakfast and this was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was panini, salad, a smoothie and a small yoghurt dessert however there were small changes each day to keep it interesting. Breakfast usually served in the lounge which was always cosy and warm. There was a huge range if tea available in the lounge at any time and a good coffee machine. Drinks could be purchased in the afternoon and evening and we found it a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Staff helped us get our luggage to our room which was helpful as it was up steep and narrow stairs. I think the hotel could help their non Japanese guests understand how to correctly use the baths and utilise the prepared Yukata by preparing some simple instructions. We vaguely knew what to do but some additional information would have helped. We very much enjoyed our evening private baths but I didn’t much like the additional cost. Maybe that is something else that could be discounted for those who book direct? Nevertheless..we paid the money as it was a lovely way to end the day.

This stay exceeded our expectations. From the walkability of this location to the comfortable beds, we enjoyed everything. Their baths and shared dining areas were a huge plus—their tea selection was much appreciated after a long day hiking.

Fantastic hotel reminiscent of a modern ryokan. Delicious breakfast. Cool lounge with dining tables for takeaways, Japanese teapots and cups for Japanese tea. Walking distance to train and bus station, and to old quarters, Great staff.

We loved our 2-night stay in this beautiful property. The tea lounge was a lovely touch, and the staff were so kind and helpful!

Absolutely beautiful and charming. One of our favourite accommodations in Japan. Hopefully we can stay here again one day.
