I was quite disappointed by the services of this hotel. It should mention it’s a self-help apartment instead of call itself a hotel so that customers’s expectations won’t be mismatched. No hotel service provided here like no towel changing, no room tidying up service, etc. my room is a tatami room, I have to set up 4 tatami beds all by myself. when I tried to book for breakfast, the staff told me it’s full, when I tried to book the carpark, staff giving unclear information and made me failed to book upon my arrival. I arrived earlier to book for carpark, the staff said the reservation for carpark will be opened at 3pm. When I arrived at 5pm, the carpark is full. Then I asked if I could book the carpark for tomorrow, the staff said cannot book now, I asked when is the carpark slot opened for reserve, the receptionist said 10am. Really confusing ……. Staff can’t communicate in English but they will use the translation machine. Pros side is the Room is spacious but with if you are looking for hotel it’s not, better call it a self help apartment

It is probably the most conveniently located hotel in Takayama, just right next to the Takayama JR train station and bus terminal. The room I stayed in has excellent view of the city, the train station and the surrounding mountains in the distance. As with most Japanese hotels, the room size is not large, but is comfortable enough for a couple or including a small child. There is even a washing machine and a microwave oven inside the room. The hotel staff are friendly and speak good English. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and there are also Onsen bath facilities. The restaurant does not serve lunch and dinner need reservation. There are restaurants near the old town area, which is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance East of the hotel. The location of the hotel near to the JR station and bus terminal make it an excellent base station to explore the nearby tourist locations like Shirakawa and other places for day-trip visits. It is also easily accessible from Nagoya, which is just 2.5 hours away by local trains. Shirakawa-go is 50 minutes away by local bus from the bus terminal beside the train station. The Takayama park (South East of old town area) is definitely worth exploring especially during the autumn when the fall foliage is really spectacular.

Onsen all'interno, possibilità di prenotare per 45mn. Grande scoperta, tutto il comfort, questo hotel a pieno di piccoli dettagli per un ottimo soggiorno e, ovviamente, il suo personale e sempre a piccoli cure con noi, con grande gentilezza .

L’arrivo in una tempesta di neve molto pesante, la ricezione sul pavimento era molto calda (come lo spazio di lobby invitante), e tutto il personale con cui ho parlato era semplicemente carino. Le camere sono enormi secondo i standard giapponesi, eccezionalmente pulite e abbastanza tranquille (perche' insistono a tenere conversazioni alti in pista?!). I tovaglioli sono fluffy, i pigiama sono morbidi, le mutandine sono grandi e la camera era calda (per me, la temperatura di default era probabilmente troppo calda - non dovevo mai usare il riscaldatore AC) There's a private and public (for guests) onsen on the top floor. Il pubblico è fuori e mentre il vetro congelato non significa vederlo, l'aria fresca (e la neve) era favolosa. Dove iniziare con colazione? Ogni mattina c'è una vasta gamma di piatti occidentali e giapponesi. Le specialità quotidiane del cuoco sono deliziose e fa un sorprendente Shokupan. Il caffè macchina caffè è piuttosto buono. L'hotel è forse 300 m dalla stazione ferroviaria/bus. Resta qui e viaggia di giorno a Shihotaka Ropeway, Gero Onsen, Shirakawa-go - più tempo puoi rimanere, meglio!

This hotel provided great service and clean accommodations. I love that hotels in Japan provide pajamas and toothbrushes. This hotel had two public baths. It's nice that they have one bath where the water is not as hot. We had the dinner buffet. It included American and chinese offerings. You receive a ticket for one serving of the Hida beef. I thought the food was good. I like that the portions are small, so you can try a lot of things. We also had the breakfast buffet which included Takayama specialty items too. There is a large souvenir shop in the hotel, so you are able to pick up gifts. I thought the prices are comparable to other gift shops. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the train station. It is a 7 minute walk to the train station, so it's not so bad. They only have two shuttles that go to Takayama Jinya (government house) which is across the bridge from Sanmachi Suji. Otherwise it's at least a 20-25 minute walk. I wish they had more shuttles to that area. There is not much to look at on the way from the hotel to Sanmachi. As Takayama becomes more popular with tourists, most of the hotel staff and store owners are able to communicate in English. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the hotel and would stay there again.

It's my fault for not upgrading to a superior room because the standard rooms are very small. That said, it was well designed and used every available bit of space. The small double bed was pushed against the wall so not ideal for 2 people. Luckily the corridor/space beside the bathroom was quite wide so I was just able to open my large suitcase. There was a nice light duvet on the bed and hard/seed pillows. The bathroom was compact but allowed for a deepish bath. The air conditioning was powerful. There was a TV but there were no English tv channels. There was a small armchair to sit in and a table, a desk/dressing table, a stool and various ledges to put stuff on. There was no in room safe. The breakfast was ok. Self service with cereal and rolls as well as a lot of Japanese choices. My room was on the ground floor and there was parking outside. The hotel provided a shuttle to get to the town centre which was convenient but allow enough time to find the bus stop for the return. I very nearly missed it because I couldn't make sense of the map provided (you had to go inside the train station and up and over the railway tracks to get to the right bus stop!). It was perfectly adequate for one night but if I was to return I'd chose a hotel in the centre of town so that restaurants and shopping/sightseeing is easier to get to.

Yatsusankan is a traditional ryokan, well established in Hida. It’s located among narrow streets with picturesque Japanese style wooden buildings. Within walking distance of the JR station (they have a shuttle too) and shops. Our room was spacious and comfortable with its own bath. AC in the bedroom. Good wifi. Very clean and well stocked with toiletries, tea, coffee, and cold drinks. Meals are at set times and we enjoyed omikase and shabu shabu during our two night stay. We chose Japanese breakfast which was also delicious, although western style is also available. There’s a very nice communal bath, indoor and outdoor. One for men and one for women. The building has a long history so it’s worth looking around if you have time. Service is warm and attentive with guests being made to feel right at home. If you’re planning a visit to Hida or the area, then Yatsusankan would be a great choice to experience traditional ryokan with great service and a bit of history.

UUtente ospiteExtremely well located if you want to be right next to the train station and bus station - my room overlooked the tracks. Provision of washing machine and dryer is a superb bonus inroom as are the full cooking facilities. The hotel intelligently provides basics such as oil, salt, coffee, tea and even a couple of detergent sachets for the washing. Strangelt though, no knives or other cutting implements of any kind. A tip if you intent to cook. The Family Mart opposite is basic, but there is a huge supermarket under the tracks and just beyond MacDonalds where you can get international food as well as Japanese. Slightly dreary corridors and a reception crowded with people waiting for their room to become available. But on the plus side they let me into my room early as I was unwell at the time.

JJohnAbbiamo cercato di prenotare questo hotel meno noto nella zona e immagino che siamo felici di avere l'opportunità di rimanere in questo bel hotel. La camera che abbiamo soggiornato era quella di ryokan con un bagno in esso. La zona doccia è condivisa tra gli altri ospiti, che è collegata anche a una zona di spettacolo condivisa sia all'interno che all'esterno. Hanno anche un trucco privato che non è necessario prenotare, solo chiudere la porta fuori per informare le persone che la stai usando. La migliore parte di questa esperienza è che abbiamo scelto di cena e colazione e siamo stati appena scoppiati, soprattutto il menu del corso di cena. Sono stati forniti come 10 tipi diversi di piatti per voi per gustare, che comprendono anche il iconico carne di cazzo! Tutto per una notte è così conveniente circa SGD $200+ che è sicuramente il valore!

LLuomsYuu è un ryokan sorprendente. Abbiamo avuto un piacevole soggiorno di due notti lì. Il colazione di stile giapponese (puoi scegliere occidentale o giapponese, ma ovviamente il vincitore è lo stile giapponese) & cena inclusa nel pacchetto è semplicemente sorprendente! E sii sicuro di provare anche Takayama Sake.È così buono con il carne di carne di Hida:) solo non può ottenere abbastanza. Per arrivare dalla stazione di Takayama JR (anche la stazione di autobus), assicuratevi di prendere l'autobus che va all'ipposui. Non abbiamo noleggiato una macchina perché non siamo abituati a guidare in un clima neve. Ma tutti i lavoratori di Yuu sono super amici, anche ci guida per un breve viaggio fuori ... E, naturalmente, anche il ciccione è sorprendente!

Aangush167Abbiamo trascorso due notti fantastiche all'inizio di giugno godendoci l'ospitalità di Yarimikan. Questa è stata la nostra prima esperienza in un ryokan giapponese, ma siamo sicuri di essere stati completamente ”fortunati” scegliendo Yarimikan. È stata un'esperienza straordinaria e rimarrà sicuramente nella memoria. È stato un facile viaggio in autobus (circa un'ora e mezza) da Takayama, abbiamo camminato dalla fermata dell'autobus alla proprietà (solo 10 minuti) anche se Yarimikan si è offerto di venirci a prendere. Il personale è molto gentile, accogliente e sempre disponibile per rendere il vostro soggiorno il più confortevole possibile: persone davvero adorabili. La posizione è straordinariamente bella, tranquilla e appartata con gli onsen all'aperto tutti lungo il fiume, tutti offrono qualcosa di diverso ma ognuno adorabile a modo suo. Pioveva a dirotto mentre eravamo lì, ma andava bene perché il fiume era ”infuriato”, il che rendeva ancora più drammatiche le viste dagli onsen all'aperto. Il cibo era sensazionale e i due pasti serali che abbiamo apprezzato sono lassù con due dei migliori pasti che abbiamo mai avuto. La sistemazione per la notte è molto tradizionale giapponese, letti duri su tatami con cuscini duri, non per tutti ma fanno parte dell'esperienza e vanno bene. Abbiamo vissuto nello Yukata che ci hanno fornito per tutto il tempo che siamo stati lì, il che era così confortevole e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. È stato piuttosto triste toglierli e lasciarli alle spalle quando siamo partiti! Grazie a tutti a Yarimikan per essere stati così gentili e aver reso il nostro soggiorno con voi così speciale.

Benvenuto servizio all'arrivo dove il concierge viene correre per scaricare i bagagli. La camera era praticamente comoda senza frittelle. L'attrazione di questo hotel era nelle molte tasche di attività da entusiasmarsi. C'era un bel bagno a piedi appiccato in un angolo sul vostro viaggio verso l'ascensore. L'accento è stato un bellissimo tutto naturale fuori-sportello 5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel - proprietario dell'hotel - apre dalle 5 alle 11 pm. L'unico accesso al fuori-sportello è stato prendere un 1-min sfondo alzato a piedi. In questo momento, si stava cambiando le stanze, ma non si stava facendo bagno, e l'esperienza era davvero magica, si scioglieva in primavera, circondata da foreste e montagne naturali, mentre guardava il sole. Il bagno di notte all'hotel era piccolo e semplice. Il cibo servito per cena era accettabile. Anche il colazione era decente. In generale, l'esperienza era piuttosto magica.

La camera dell'hotel è piccola e un po'soleta. La spazzatura fornisce strutture di base, ma è ancora pulita.Il nostro prezzo della casa ha pacchetto la colazione, inaspettatamente la buona qualità della colazione. Ho ordinato la colazione giapponese con pesce sandwich e le foglie di pesce alpino conosciute come alpino, molto deliziosa e dolce. La zona di Goshan non è molto grande, quindi il passo è stato possibile visitare i principali luoghi di turismo e shopping di Goshan.

DDuboisTristanQuesto posto era assolutamente fantastico! A lontano il nostro posto preferito da tutta la nostra gita. La posizione era assolutamente perfetta per il festival Takyama. Siamo stati letteralmente li', con negozi e venditori di strade a 50 metri di distanza, e le parate sarebbero state li' anche se non fossero cancellate a causa della pioggia. Le camere erano umili e tradizionali e si aggiungevano all'esperienza. Il tè nella stanza era eccezionalmente buono e il tradizionale colazione giapponese che servivano era anche delizioso e divertente da mangiare. Non sapevamo nemmeno che avessero una legittima primavera calda sul sito, ma lo hanno fatto! Sono bagni di stile giapponese, quindi siate pronti a farlo, ma l'acqua era terapeutica e così rilassante. Non posso raccomandare questo posto abbastanza e farei assolutamente un punto di visitare Takyama e rimanere qui per qualche giorno nel nostro prossimo viaggio in Giappone. Sono stati un ospedale così bello.E non posso credere il prezzo, che grande valore. Fatevi un favore e restate qui. Non sono sicuro perché le altre cattive recensioni sono qui, li ho letti e sembrano i turisti americani stupidi, quindi ignorateli e restate qui.
