La Hospederìa, una maravilla: la estancia, la comida, el personal... y para completar el viaje, comentar que estábamos por casualidad en la puerta del corral de comedias y una chica joven, empleada del Ayuntamiento y guìa local, se ofreciò a hacernos la visita gratuitamente. Toda una profesional, no se deja ni un rincón por explicar, nos ha dejado encantados con el recorrido. Le damos las gracias por ello. Lo recomendamos a todo el que pase por allì de visita. Ni siquiera acepta propina, se ve que le encanta su trabajo.

Lovely hotel - so glad we stayed here. Room very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. We thought the food was excellent - both evening meals and breakfasts.

Travelling down from Santander to the Algarve, we were using this as one of two stop overs. What a wonderful little town in the middle of no where. Friendly, rustic, clean and quite impressive. The hotel accommodation was excellent value for money, comfortable, clean, appealing with very helpful staff. Good value for money, we will return again.

What an absolute gem. The Hospederias are a small group of hotels run by the regional government of Extremedura (one of the 17 autonomous communities that make up Spain). This one's building was a 15th century palace and has been sympathetically extended to add modern accommodation, meeting rooms, etc in a linked block. It is a few (and only a few) kms off the beaten track of the A66 (autovia del plata) and more than worth the effort to get there. Staff were very helpful and friendly despite a fairly significant language barrier. Good secure parking.

Fantastic place but very quiet when we were there. Dinner was very good but we were the only people in the restaurant. Breakfast was very disappointing. We had to ask for bread and the waitress didn’t understand any english. Would like to go back when there is more activity around. Location is fantastic

Dramatic 16 century location, while still having some beautiful modern amenities and bedrooms. The breakfast was good and meals in the hotel are top notch. Its a quiet town so a good place to recharge. The town is not friendly per se, but the tour guide and staff at a more hip restaurant on the edge of town are fantastic and made the trip a great experience.

Estuvimos alojados en la Hospederia de Puente de Alconetar y la experiencia fue inolvidable, tanto el alojamiento, un palacio del siglo XV, como el trato del personal, fue genial, estuvimos en régimen de media pensión y la comida fabulosa

La hospedería está ubicada en un palacio precioso, la habitación era amplia y la cama enorme y muy cómoda, todo estaba muy limpio. Todo el personal de diez, amables, simpáticos, atentos, nos hicieron sentirnos muy agusto. La comida del restaurante, toda riquísima.

Un hotel muy limpio, bonito, cómodo y acogedor. El sistema de climatización es de lo mejor que he visto, lo que hace que la temperatura en todas las estancias sea la apropiada. La atención por parte de todo el personal fue exquisita. Quedamos muy contentos.
