@@travel_with_the_sunExcellent! I don't know where to start. Everything was perfect, what you would expect from a place to stay and feel at home with perfect clealiness and comfort. So here in addition the things that makes its special: Super friendly and helpful staff, free bicycles, 5 mins from the main station, you have three little boxes at the bathroom containing cotton swabs, dental floss and sanitary pad. The breakfast was excellent, everyone gets an egg to prepare it by your own how you like it in the kitchen, different jams/spreads, a toaster, orange juice and of course coffee and tea. Also excellent: There is cooking oil, salt and pepper and even knifes in the kitchen. It sounds strange, but these are not very common in hostels. Everything is well organised, from check-in to all infos you may need in the hostel or around the area. I met great other traveler and the hostel offers a very good environment to socialize in the common spaces.
The only tiny thing which I missed is just a towel, some hostel have it, some don't.
One of the best hostels on my travels. It is a 6/5!

LLolitaI was very surprised as from the few pictures I have seen it looked small but in fact I found the small room they offer rather enough. The bathroom was huge. The bed is nice too. The reception and the breakfast rooms are well decorated and very enjoyable. Great location on top of that ! Nearby night market. And a great thanks to the young man at the reception who took time to help me park my big car.

AAgnes CM LeeWe spent 12 nights in Taiwan, touring the island, and this is by far the most beautiful and functional hostel/hotel we’d stayed in.
Absolutely love the lay out of the place. With a big courtyard in the middle, filled with plants. The ground floor has a common fully functional kitchen (with fridge, oven, stove, steamer, we even found Chinese tea set for those wanting to try out Chinese tea making), lots of pots and pans, they even provide cooking oil, sauces, salt for cooking. It’s so clean and tidy that every guest using the place was obligated to keep the place the same state!
On the ground floor, there are lots of comfortable seats for reading or having a chat. Tables for doing work. Bean bags to sit and lounge around.
The hostel provides bike mounts for those who come in bicycle, a bike repair area with some tools to fix your bike.
Those who drive, there is a nearby parking for hostel guest (TWD50 per day)
We get vouchers to spend in a few places nearby, so we used it to pay for our brunch at Lane28. They were enough to cover brunch for 3 of us for 2 days.
The rooms too are nicely designed. Our deluxe double room comes with a big bed, a sofa, and a study table. The hotel even provide journaling books, stamps, washi tapes for journaling.
Absolutely coming back! And will try the other Norden Ruder hostel in Taichung.

JJSTWHotel location is superb. But I personally like the most of this hotel is their buffet breakfast. It’s one of the best breakfast I ever had in taitong hotels given this was my 5th trip to taitung in last 3 years.
The buffet breakfast is well prepared, so many different varieties of food and the staffs provided top notch service to all customers

UUtente ospite位置算很接近市中心，民宿有停車場但車位有限，如停滿附近路邊倒是不難找到位置停車。
步行大約10分鐘範圍內，購物、用餐都很方便，有卑南豬血湯、知名地瓜酥等等。
這次住的是兩張雙人床的房型，空間很大，一人一張床蠻舒服的，整體環境很乾凈，重點是房內備有一台冷藏小冰箱，真的讚！
非假日連住兩晚，極高的性價比，有點超乎預期，美中不足的是第一晚樓上住了一對夫妻（或者是情侶），竟然半夜吵架，無言....。另外，B棟靠大馬路旁，晚上偶有稍明顯的汽機車聲，但尚不致於造成困擾。

UUtente anonimoIl parcheggio è conveniente - proprio fuori dall'hotel, dal suo seminterrato o da un parcheggio aperto all'opuscolo.
La camera è molto spaziosa e due bagagli a pieno dimensione possono essere aperti confortevolmente con spazio a piedi ampio. Il bagno è grande anche. Il pane e il caffè/tea/succhi sono disponibili 24 ore. La macchina di vendita istantanea è disponibile anche. Non c'è negozio di comodità intorno all'hotel.
Durante il colazione è disponibile una vasta gamma di cibi - porridge con condimenti, cibo cotto, tosta, frutta, salate ecc.
La vista che la stanza deve offrire è del tutto piacevole!

IIrvineMom820Il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel è stato un'esperienza mista, e in generale, non mi sarebbe valsa la pena.
L'hotel stesso è vecchio e le strutture si sentono molto date. Anche se dispone di una grande piscina e spa, durante il nostro soggiorno erano inutilizzabili, mentre correvano con acqua fredda. Non abbiamo visto nessuno usarli. La “bassa di bellezza”, che è stata annunciata come avendo acqua riscaldata, era deludente a causa di un forte odore di fogna, e la sauna non è complimentare gli ospiti dell’hotel, che si sono sentiti insensati.
La cena era anche sottovalutata, il cibo a la carta nel ristorante era inferiore alla media in qualità, le porzioni erano piccole e i prezzi erano elevati. L'atmosfera era piacevole, anche se si sentiva strano essere l'unico cliente alle 8:00. Una nota più chiara, il colazione era eccellente. Io apprezzerei quattro stelle per la sua varietà di cibo locale e autoctone, che era un'evidenza del soggiorno.
Anche il calendario delle attività per i bambini era inconveniente. Anche se i bambini potevano giocare a piscina e ping pong gratuitamente la sera (dopo che siamo arrivati alle 7 pm), tutte le altre attività erano programmate per la mattina tardi o pomeriggio, dopo il tempo di checkout.
La posizione dell'hotel è un altro svantaggio: è lontano dai ristoranti e dalle aree occupate, rendendo necessario avere una macchina o prendere un taxi.
L'aspetto positivo del nostro soggiorno è stato la stanza. Prenotammo la camera familiare premium/suite, che forniva zone di dormire separate per i genitori e i bambini. Abbiamo apprezzato la caratteristica. Tuttavia, questo è arrivato a un prezzo premium, costando più del 25%. Aveva chiesto una stanza con vista, e il cameriere del desk era in camera, che apprezzo.
In generale, mentre la camera e il colazione erano bellissimi, il resto dell'esperienza non giustificava il costo o l'inconveniente. Non consiglierei questo hotel a meno che non siano apportate miglioramenti significativi alle strutture e ai servizi.

DDowlingMikeThis place is located minutes from the beach and minutes for the city so it’s a great location. The rooms are very clean and the access is safe and secure. There is free coffee and a microwave on the ground floor.
The only drawback (and it’s huge to a solo traveler booking forward legs of a journey) is that the WiFi is awful ! The connection is good on the ground floor but I was on the third floor and this proved very frustrating.
I was informed that the reception was “poor by the window of the room”. It was poor in every part of the room !
If they get this sorted it would be a full 5 star accommodation ….. it’s really a nice place (Room 301) …

LLAU RJIl nuovo hotel, che ha costato circa 3000 camere doppie più economiche per prenotare questa volta, il valore CP è assolutamente OK.Il personale di servizio clienti è molto felice di rispondere e aiutare gli ospiti, sia online che il personale.Lo spazio per il sedile è un po'piccolo ma la sanità di base è disponibile; La pressione dell'acqua durante il bagno è sufficiente per progettare lo spazio di separazione secca ; lo spazio pubblico ha caffè gratuito e il gatto e il gatto sono forniti alla sera; anche se la camera è molto più debole, l'ospite accanto non ha fatto il suono e dormiva bene. Il piano superiore è anche progettato per vedere la stella e vedere la posizione del sole

TtwinkleracI had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel.
There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant.
Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on.
Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another.
In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.
