Hotel in zona NTU Farm, Taipei

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

Room was nice and generally clean but coffee cups had drink stains on the cup lip. No amenities provided on the basis of sustainability, which is understandable, but only one small reusable glass bottle for drinking water in the room. Charging plugs and sockets were hidden behind the desk lamp. None at the bedside, which was a pity. Lighting control was also finicky and not easy to use. Gym equipment was interesting.

Un buon hotel per soggiornare. È un hotel a 3 stelle con strutture che si può ottenere in un hotel a 4 stelle. Tutto è stato bello. I membri del personale sono amici. Payment process is burdensome. When i came, there's Filipino that have to go out to draw cash because cant accept card payment on that time. While mine, I have pre authorization payment and needed to tap the card but failed. I tried two type of cards also fail. Then I took all my other four cards and asked 'okay I have four cards here, if none of these cards didn't work, its your problem here'. Then they restart the payment machine but the Wise card that i used while booking can't used there, and I have to use my credit card which cost me more than the paid amount. Now it have been two weeks since check out and i still didn't get the refund to my Wise Card. Please find somewhere hotel that didn't have this pre authorization process thing. Its hassle and burdensome.

Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.
