Usual 5 star amenities and comfort that one would expect. However some staff at reception here seemed unfriendly , being unhappy to be disturbed from whatever chores they were doing. I also saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom.

The location was really nice, can see 101 directly from the room

The place is so quit and clean, food for breakfast is good and a lot of choices, all the staffs are very approachable. Location is good very close to 101 building.

Room was clean and spacious. Excellent location almost opposite Taipei 101. Service was good and the breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Bed was comfy and nothing went bump in the middle of the night!

The facilities are nice especially the gym and sauna. The equipments are well maintainedand complete. The sauna is spacious and complete too. Walking distance to many shopping areas

Located in perfect location. Nice staffs. So comfy to catch taxi.

Great location and great service, choose the room with Taipei 101 view would be a fantastic experience.

Stay this hotel for New Year Count Down Highly recommended... Comfy bed, pleasant staff, facilities and lobby looking grand. Good selection of breakfast items.

Room is actually quite small. The breakfast had only a few poor Western options, so really poor choice for such a 5* buffet. I think there are so many better options at much better prices in Taipei. Give the (not so) Grand Hyatt a miss

I had a comfortable stay, hotel was abut old. Room was renovated. Location next to 101

E**za at the front desk of this hotel was the worst Hyatt staff I've ever met, or any hotel staff I've ever been to. She kept asking me what time I would come, saying the room wouldn't be ready at 3 pm. That was very rude and disgusting. It's your fault that you can't check in at 3 pm, not my problem that I have to come back late. If you're going to do it that way, change the check-in information to 17:00 instead of 15:00 and provide more accurate information, okay? The staff at the hotel in Ximen where I stayed before Grand Hyatt Taipei were really smart and friendly, so I had high expectations when I went to the Hyatt, but E**za let me down right from tne start. The facilities of this hotel are good, but the staff was subpar.

I was on an 18hr layover & it was a great stay. My airport pickup was on time & they didn't mind that my flight was late. The car had wifi & it was a smooth journey. Check in was simple and the receptionist spoke English. I had a few questions that were all answered sufficiently. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was next to the 101 building which was a nice view. There was also a shopping mall less than a 10 minute wall away. I would definitely stay again.
