Hotel in zona Art Nouveau, Taipei

Il letto queen size della camera trendy è molto confortevole. La camera è abbastanza pulita. Il check-in e il check-out in hotel sono semplici e il personale è disponibile (può anche parlare più lingue). Vicino alla stazione ferroviaria con molte opzioni alimentari disponibili. Posto auto disponibile in hotel in base all'ordine di arrivo. Un piccolo inconveniente è che l'aria condizionata è rovinata nel cuore della notte. E la palestra è molto piccola e limitata.

This is the new brand of Hyatt Hotel group in Taipei. First imoression: similar to Moxy, Citizen M focuses on social and fun with a touch of old fashion-CD Player and old music (nice & used to be popular). Room: good size with a cute wooden box CD player. The room has 2 bottles of 'sustainable glass bottle water', 1 energy powder, capsule coffee, and 2 tea bags. Toiletries were normal standard, and the cute part is eye mask, pillow mist, wooden massage board, ear plugs & and mask. F&B: they have one bar, which was a well-known bar from Taichung. I had a cocktail with a blend of tea. Way too sweet... It's not my ideal.. 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail time offered free red and white wine, beer, and other soft drinks. I think the brand of white wine and red wine are pretty bad. I only used them for cooking, not drinkable... I honestly think if you gonna offer at least not a common brand of cooking wine that downgrade their chic standard. Breakfast was offered by ground floor restaurant, American style. I didn't choose it due to lack of time. The location is great, about 5 minutes from METRO station. There are only 4 stops from Taipei station. For this price, I think it's higher than other hotels. I would think 2 main reasons: 1st, it's a new one, 2nd good location and brand. But may not be value for money type of Hotel. One funny thing: after comparing with hyatt member price, OTA is cheaper, which is very common. But, I consumed beverages I could not accumulate my spending in my membership points, which I don't see the point.

You get what you pay for; the exterior of the hotel appears nice, suggesting it was once elegant, but it has lost its charm. The room has a moldy smell, and the floor needs replacing, though it's surprisingly clean. The elevator is small but better than none. The hotel's redeeming qualities are its affordability, proximity to restaurants, and convenient access to public transportation. If you seek a budget-friendly place to sleep in a convenient location, this could be your hotel.

La posizione era ottima e le strutture e i servizi non erano male, ma dato che si trova nella zona di un business hotel, potrebbe sembrare un po' angusto per venire con i genitori! La colazione può essere consumata in vari modi e in un locale spazioso, ma era affollato perché c'erano tanti ospiti! È stato il mio primo viaggio a Taiwan e ci sono stato molto comodamente perché era proprio di fronte all'uscita 5 della stazione di Ximen. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto anche solo della posizione, quindi lo consiglio!

Tutte le aspettative dell'hotel sono state fatte molto bene, tranne per il servizio. Si trova nel cuore di Taipei City che rende andare ovunque conveniente, tra 15 min - 30 min per camion. Il colazione è ben cotto, ma non si aspettano molte variazioni. Il servizio è davvero cattivo tra i dipendenti maschi. Essi mostrano un viso e un tono inpatiente quando le chiedo la password wifi dopo l'iscrizione. E quando c'è un problema nella mia stanza, mi aspettano di risolverlo da solo invece di mandare un tecnico. Quando chiedo a uno di quei vecchi, lui dice rapidamente: ”No” e lascialo. Non sarò felice di tornare.

From the outside, it does not look very impressive, the lift lobby and building looks like a very old building that was about to be deserted. You really worry if the room will be just as bad. However, it was a pleasant surprised when you enter the room. Though a budget hotel, the room was spacious and super clean. The bed was big and so comfortable, I slept like a baby. They are very generous with amenities. They even gave me a room upgrade from double to quad room even though I am a solo traveler (Appreciate). Service was indeed equivalent to Spore airlines. Will consider booking with them next time. The best part is the lobby is just 5 steps from XI Men Ding MRT exit 2. Super convenient to go any where. Thank you!

Il piacevole hotel artistico, situato in una posizione molto conveniente vicino alla stazione di metro e autobus della Taipei Arena.L'unica questione è che le camere non sono molto isolate dal suono, perché si può sentire il suono delle tubazioni acquatiche dalle camere vicine.

Hotel location is convenient as it's only walking distance from Ximen's shopping district and MRT. Lots of shops and and restaurants around so you will never run out of options. The receptionist was accommodating with all our inquiries. We loved the fact that we can drink as many coffee and hot chocolate as we want from the drink machine in the lobby. There is a water dispenser as well to refill water. My sister and I had a wonderful stay and there isn't really much to complain about. The decor is quite old fashioned but our room was clean enough which is most important. Overall, we are satisfied. I would recommend to stay here if you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay for a couple of days in Ximen.
