Tacoma: hotel a 2 stelle

Non sapevo cosa aspettare con l'hotel così vicino alla 5 autostrada, ma sapendo che è un Comfort Inn, e molto sinceramente, ho letto un sacco di recensioni su tutte le proprietà che stavo guardando. Tra fiducia nel marchio e considerazione delle recensioni abbiamo scelto questo hotel. Molto felice. Camera confortevole, pulita e anche tranquilla. Nelle vicinanze del Tacoma Dome . Numerose scelte per il cibo sulla distanza da camminare. Il personale del desk front è molto amichevole e professionale. Ho avuto un buon soggiorno.Grazie.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a hotel in this neighborhood,but I loved this one! Emma at check-in turned around what had been a trying day by laughing with me. My room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.I was afraid I'd hear freeway noise, but I heard nothing. The mattress and pillows were amazing. The room showed some wear (chipped laminate, loose blind pulls), but nothing that impacted my stay. I was very happy that I chose to stay there! Also, lots of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is undergoing quite a bit of construction/renovation, but that was not an issue for me as I was only there for 1 night as I was attending P!nk's concert at the Tacoma Dome. The hotel was an easy walk from the Amtrak station. Check-in was very smooth. Jose, the person who checked me in, was super warm and friendly. He was efficient and communicated clearly everything I needed to know for my stay. The hotel is very clean. My room was very spacious and modern. This was such a nice change from another hotel I stayed in about a month earlier in Richmond, VA. I did take advantage of the free hotel breakfast the next morning, and I was impressed by the offerings. It was much more than just cereal, bagels, and juice. There was all of that and then some (e,g, hot bar, assorted pastries, selections of juices and types of milk). Checkout was also a breeze, and the young lady (I didn't get her name) assisting me was lovely. The room rate was elevated because of the demand from out of towners coming to Tacoma for P!nk's 2 night stand at the Dome. I met quite a few other hotel guests that were there for the concert. However, the ”regular” room rates seem to be an excellent value for what the hotel offers. Once the renovations are complete and things such as the fitness center are back in operation, it'll be an even more excellent value for the dollar. I look forward to coming back soon for a weekend getaway to explore Tacoma.

We chose to stay at Extended Stay America Tacoma South while relocating to the area, and it made our transition much smoother! The room was spacious and included all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The front desk helped provide the things we needed for our kitchenette too! The hotel also offered laundry facilities, a pet-friendly site, and good TV channels (what a bonus for the kids!!), which were extremely convenient. The grab-and-go breakfast was delicious and quick! The staff, especially Tiffany, were extremely helpful in assisting with any requests we had and very friendly, respectful, and personable. It is a great hotel and I will be recommending it to anyone looking for a place to stay!

La gente era utile.Non era affatto turbata. Era un paio di giorni tranquilli.

La ristrutturazione è andata bene. Tuttavia, hanno rimosso gli armadi. non c'è posto per appendere i vestiti. Il personale è stato molto gentile e ha soddisfatto le mie varie esigenze. sono stati apprezzati!

Ok….I read the reviews and was anxious about our upcoming one night stay to attend a concert at the Tacoma Dome. Check In - 5 stars, Marlene is wonderful, checked us in a couple of hours early and was just a delight to deal with esp since the hotel was fully booked the night before. Security & Homeless - We felt very secure, lots of remote cameras in parking lot and an over night security guard. Unhoused people are in most urban centres and Tacoma is no different, you will see evidence of this especially if you make the very easy 20 minute walk (straight road) to the Dome….we did not feel unsafe or worried at all. Room (712) on the 7th floor which faces the freeway (we were checked in early and could have had the other more quite side if we wanted to wait). We could hear a bit of Hwy noise but it really was not a problem….if you are a light sleeper bring some ear plugs and you will be fine otherwise I’m just becomes white noise. Our room was spotless (thank you house keeping) and fresh, fridge, microwave, iron, coffee etc deluxe king was category. Everything worked except the wifi which for some reason would not let us sign in, the front desk was aware and hopefully that will be fixed soon, we really didn’t need wifi but did use it in the breakfast room the next morning, which worked perfectly. Breakfast - The hotel was fully booked and it was still good, lots of staff (all friendly), nice selection which was fresh and plentiful, no real protein asides from hard boiled eggs, but lots of other choices of yummy mini waffles and syrup, fresh, fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, muffins, biscuits and gravy, juices, coffee, tea and more…you will find something, but people with gluten or carb issues might not have many options. The breakfast area was spacious and very clean. FYI - There is a $75.00 dollar hold on your credit card for incidentals as their is an on-sight restaurant (we did not try it) and a small shop that you can charge drinks and snacks items to your room. The $75.00 hold on our Visa card was released back to our visa in 24 hours. Check Out - Easy Peasy, Dorothy was full of smiles and asked us how the concert was. Then we were on the I5 on our way home within 2 minutes. All in all, really nothing to fault, our experience was excellent and would stay again without hesitation. Thank you La Quinta Tacoma, keep up the great standards.

Inizio dicendo che sto per entrare in questa recensione un po' confuso. In 40 anni di viaggio, non ho mai avuto un hotel o un motel mi dica che non posso usare i miei punti di ricompensa. Ma in questo caso, mi è stato detto che i punti possono essere utilizzati solo per “Camere standard” e tutte le loro camere standard sono state prenotate. Quindi sono andato avanti e pagato per una ... camera non standard??? . Beh, sono arrivato nella mia camera e suppongo che cosa - era solo una stanza standard motel. Non c'era nulla di speciale o difettoso con questa stanza, con questo detto e fuori dal modo, ecco gli aspetti positivi del mio soggiorno. L'impianto è un po' nuovo e era pulito (il profumo di biancheria ha messo in aria pesante). Il personale era cortese, ma non necessariamente amichevole. Il letto era medio stabile e ci erano molte piastrelle. Il colazione gratuita era abbastanza buono. Alla 150 metri dall'hotel ci erano due ristoranti ... il cibo al ristorante Pho era davvero buono. Ora per alcuni svantaggi ... (1) per tutti voi dormitori leggeri, questo era un motel rumoroso. Anche se eravamo in una stanza sul retro del motel che affrontava un sacco di vuoti, potevamo ancora sentire il rumore del traffico vicino. Inoltre, potremmo sentire gli ospiti parlare nella loro stanza e nel corridoio, e anche i passi dal piano sopra di noi. (2) Questo motel si trova in una posizione non così bello di Tacoma ... chiude anche le porte del lobby frontale dopo alcune ore, quindi è necessario utilizzare la carta chiave della camera per entrare nel lobby e per gestire l'ascensore. Connesso alla questione del rumore... ho sentito un paio di spari a circa le 3 a.m.
