Hotel in zona Stowarzyszenie Działkowców ＂Kasztanek＂, Szczecin

I visited this hotel together with my daughter. I had booked the hotel online on their website a few days in advance. The web site for booking gave me the impression that I pre-paid for the room (which I did not), that led to some confusion at check-in, however neither the girl in the reception or I made a big issue out of this, and the confusion was settled. The room was clean and as expected. It's what you expect for the price we paid. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful when it cam to booking a taxi and recommending a restaurant. There is a ten minute walk to the train station.

Das Hotel befindet sich unweit von den Sehenswürdigkeiten Szczecins, sodass man alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Auto kann man auf einen bewachten Parkplatz abstellen, der zwar ein paar Meter vom Hotel entfernt, aber gut zu erreichen ist. Die Zimmer haben europäischen Standard und sind relativ ruhig, obwohl Hauptverkehrsstraßen in der Nähe sind. Das Frühstück ist gut und vielfältig. Das hoteleigene Restaurant hat zwar nicht eine urige Atmosphäre, bietet aber auch am Abend einiges.

The hotel is located in an old building, recently renovated, but not extremely well highlighted by the other surrounding buildings. The room is spacious, comfortable, with an extremely interesting lighting system. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Der Empfang war herzlich. Die Einrichtung ist ein gelungener Mix aus Tradition und Moderne. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und mit Allem eingerichtet, was man braucht (Kaffee-Tee Zubereiter, Mini Kühlschrank, TV, etc.). Das Bad ist geräumig und mit einer großen Dusche ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war absolute Spitze. Man kann einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage buchen oder kostenfrei in einer Seitenstraße (Wohnviertel) stellen.
