Antouanetta Apartments

We love Antounetta Apartments, we've stayed 6 times & wouldn't stay anywhere else. The location is perfect, very close to town & the apartments are comfortable, nicely decorated, well equipped & affordable. Antounetta is the best of hosts, nothing is too much trouble & she gives everyone the warmest welcome. A bonus is the beautiful private garden adjacent to the apartments, very rare in Syros. A wonderful place to enjoy drinks or coffee. Antounetta's is a memorable & beautiful place to call home whilst experiencing the culture & beauty of this very special island.

Antouanetta is the most gracious hotelier you can imagine... and I say "imagine" because after 50 years of travel across dozens of countries on 4 continents, I've never met anyone who even comes close. She created 7 beautiful & unique apartments of varying sizes & prices ~ several with terraces &/or balconies ~ by renovating a 150 year-old mansion. These apartments are decorated lovingly, and always spotlessly clean & well-stocked. Her breakfasts are fantastic, with a large selection to choose from ~ and served in her warm & "homey" Breakfast Room. Her attention to detail is wonderful ~ her taste in art and accessories flawless. Her walled garden is a large slice of natural Paradise, with a dozen places to sit, relax, read, eat breakfast al fresco, or share a bottle of vino. Possibly the best component is Antouanetta herself! She is genuine, truly warm & helpful about anything & everything... I've been coming to Hermoupolis for 8 years, staying weeks (even months) at a time, singly or as a couple, or with friends, and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

This beautiful apartment complex is the best place to stay in the town of Hermopoulis and situated in one of the best streets. The apartments are lovely with everything you need & nicely decoraated. The walk to the port and town is only a few minutes & you are right in the center of Hermopoulis. Everything is exceptionally clean & Antounetta is always so welcoming and makes all her guests feel at home. We've been staying here for many years and would never stay anywhere else.

Antouanetta was so kind and professional that I couldn't miss rating with 5 stars her lovely apartments. At the end of my stay she warefelled me with a complimentary box of Syros famous loukoumia!!

Antouanetta a tenu à ce que les chambres de son établissement soient les plus accueillantes possibles et c’est une réussite totale. Situé dans un quartier calme, sur les hauts de Syros mais à 5 mn du centre de la capitale des Cyclades, c’est un vrai havre de paix. Il faut monter des marches pour arriver mais là-haut quand vous rentrerez chez vous le soir ce sera un grand moment de plaisir. Notre chambre était très confortable et raffinée. La terrasse était grande et donnait sur la mer. Nous pouvions déjeuner ou dîner si nous le voulions. Tout est prévu pour pouvoir préparer un repas. La chambre était nettoyée chaque jour et d’une propreté parfaite. Antouanetta a répondu à toutes nos attentes et est d’une gentillesse rare. Elle nous a accompagné jusqu’au taxi quand nous sommes allés voir un coucher de soleil. Sa douceur nous a charmés. Il y a un petit jardin très bien aménagé et verdoyant où l’on peut lire ou boire un verre. Tout est parfait ici! Je recommande vivement! Et l’on y dort merveilleusement.
