I really wanted to love this hotel but from the moment we arrived it kept failing us.From cars parking at the entry so you had to park in the lot and walk with luggage to a long checkin.1 front desk person 1 trainee.No one acknowledged me. They were having trouble with something. Someone cut right in front of me,I mentioned I was next and they asked her what she needed. Still nothing to me.But they kept working on the problem w the person up front-were literally face timing a manager with the checkin before me as I stood waiting. Still, no comment,not “sorry, it will just be a moment” nada. Finally get up there, everyone very nice, but also problems with my reservation it looks like.Finally get the room cards and then it is not taking my credit card.Mind you, it is almost 1am, we just drove 5 hrs. and now my 2 sleepy boys and husband are behind me with our things. I finally ask if they can go up while we figure this out. “Ya,sure”. Shouldn’t you have offered that? You are in the Hospitality business. Finally they have me use a different credit card machine and I can go upstairs too. Upstairs, room had faint smell of poop. Never found anything, but the room just never smelled good.Strange setup-nowhere to hang a coat, except the closet in the bedroom, but the only drawers were desk drawers so not much room for clothes in a room for6. Hairdryer had crud on it, so did couch. No one told us the time for breakfast,or that we had some happy hour thing included- saw it too late.
