Quando ho chiesto una stanza specifica, che non era disponibile, Alisa ha offerto una stanza di aggiornamento, che è venuta con accesso al salone esecutivo, che è stato molto apprezzato, poiché il salone al 36° piano è uno dei punti di forza del soggiorno al Hilton. We stayed for 1 night and had the buffet breakfast. Requested for a cot and a high chair upon check-in and they were ready when we got in to the room! We booked the two-bedroom deluxe, they were interconnected and very spacious with a modern kitchen. The room was clean and there was milk in the fridge. Our room didn’t have a nespresso machine though, such a shame because the details said it should. The tv remote in the main room wasn’t working but we only stayed for the night and it didn’t bother us. I like that they have robes and slippers ready to wear. The beds weren’t very comfortable though, we all struggled to get a good night sleep. Check-in was a breeze, all the staff were so easy go talk to. The car park was on-site which was great. The hotel’s location is its best feature as it’s so close to everything — train station, woolies, restaurants, cinemas etc. it’s even connected to Regents Place at Level 10. I could not fault the staff. They are just so friendly and accommodating, always with a smile on their faces. They were also very quick go respond. The breakfast buffet was amazing and food was great, although it was disappointing that they still charged us full walk-in rate $32 instead of pre-book $28 each even though I told them that I tried to book online and via phone and spoke to Vincent. That’s why I’m only rating it 4/5 stars. Will return soon though :)

Il GM Klaus era molto aziendale nel organizzare un 'diner' gala per noi in una stanza separata. Il personale del desk è cortese e utile. Le camere erano piccole - ma molto elegantemente progettate. L'illuminazione sottile e piacevole. Le letti comodi. Raccomando questo hotel a chiunque. Grazie.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall this was a good stay for one night. The location is in the middle of Sydney next to town hall and Museum Station. There is a great viewing platform on the top of the building with ample seating and a pool. The bed was comfortable, with a shower, toilet, TV and tea / coffee making facilities. I just checked out of room 603 at Castlereagh. I booked three rooms for myself and a couple of colleagues with location and price being the main reason for choosing this hotel. The location was definitely the best thing about it but not enough to come back. I don’t mind that check in was a bit slow, the phones didn’t work to call reception, my window was broken and had to be forcefully shut by staff. These things are annoyances that I can live with. All I want in a room is a clean, quiet and dark place to sleep. This hotel definitely wasn’t quiet nor dark. There were no block out blinds so the light streamed into the room at around 6:30am each morning. Even this would have been fine if I had a good night’s rest which was impossible with the construction site literally on the other side of the wall to my room. There was no mention of it when booking or checking in. I probably should have realised when there were two pairs of ear plugs in the bedside table…not a good sign. I find ear plugs really uncomfortable so had to play white noise on full blast on my phone. Even then, the construction noise was still booming through. Full disclaimer: my room was in the worst position out of the three I’d booked. The two other rooms had a room or two separating them from the construction while mine was right next to it. They also had issues with the noise but not as as bad as what I’d experienced. I recommend this place if you’re a heavy sleeper that can sleep through any noise (think drilling and hammering) in a well lit room. If you’re anything outside of that, I would pay a bit extra and find another place. Yes, this was the cheapest I could find around here but I’m heading home tired, irritated and needing a good night’s sleep.

Grande appartamento. Ci siamo trasferiti in un appartamento di 2 camere da letto. Amiamo il layout e aveva 2 balconi. Caffè in piedi per il pranzo/brecky se necessario. Mia sorella è rimasta in una suite da letto con una camera da letto, ecc. E' altrettanto bello e pulito. Nessun balcone, ma vista magnifica posizione centrale. Amazing. Accomodazione personale.

Thanks to the great staff including Ceria and Tatiana for making us welcome and fulfilling any requests we had. Room was a corner 1 bedroom 2602 and we loved it. Building had 27 floors and I love high floors. No issues with either lift. Can't understand other reviewers complaining about no servicing of rooms. Upon check-in we were advised just ask. We did and the room was serviced excellently. Had a welcome bev/snack package on arrival in room for Accor Diamond level and was great. Also had Easter bag hanging on door with choc eggs and more on Easter Sunday. So, loved the room, the staff, view of QVB and Sydney tower and convenient location. Keep up the great work!

La camera era pulita, ma il porto USB nella camera da letto non funzionava, l'orologio di allarme non era stato impostato e aveva un buzz estremamente annoiante, e quindi dovevo sbloccarlo comunque. Le direzioni del parcheggio erano estremamente povere, non menzionando l'uso di ascensore o cosa aspettarsi, e ho suggerito che si potesse fare un volante per rispondere a qualsiasi domanda per i clienti che hanno bisogno di utilizzare il servizio di parcheggio. Non c'era molto da fare per il personale, e non potevano che ripetere le informazioni scarse già fornite, e mi sentivo come un numero e non un cliente pagatore. Sembra che non vi sia alcuna attenzione per i dettagli, e questo scenderebbe dal personale di gestione al personale di pavimento.

Si ascolta sempre più in riferimento agli hotel. ”Si ottiene quello che paga.” Quindi questo posto è economico. Per Sydney (dove gli hotel diventano assurdamente costosi) è molto economico. Quindi, sì, è vecchio. Il bagno con le sue tessere grigie-verde mi ricorda un vecchio hotel di paese. Il vetro circostante la doccia è grungo (ma non sporco). Le tende non sono abbastanza adatti. TAVOLA ... la posizione è sorprendente. Come annunciato, è letteralmente a piedi di un minuto per Sydney Town Hall. È proprio nel cuore della città. E 'pulito. Il personale è benvenuto e amichevole. Il luogo è tranquillo (nota che ho avuto una stanza al quarto piano - potrebbe essere più rumoroso). Ha un ascensore moderno. Il Wifi è buono. La TV è erratica. E, più sorprendente, la stanza era davvero molto spaziosa. La Coronazione è molto meglio di molti hotel urbani interni. Alcuni sono più costosi che hanno solo bagni condivisi; alcuni sono molto meno costosi che erano effettivamente hotel di pod o capsula. Qui si può ottenere una camera giusta, una camera accogliente, con un bagno condizionato, proprio nel cuore della città, meno costose che alternative meno ben progettate. Certo, è vecchio. Non è il Ritz. Ma non paga neanche i prezzi Ritz. In realtà è un istituto medio, ma lo giudico molto bene perché è in realtà molto meglio di quanto si aspettasse, e il prezzo - per l'ubicazione - è fantastico, e la gente si lamenterà perché è vecchio. Finalmente sarà migliorato, e poi sarà moderno, bianco e brillante - e molto più costoso! Fino a quel giorno, resterò ancora lì, felicemente.
