Hotel in zona The Mint, Sydney

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy.

Rimasto per i primi 4 notti mentre visitava l'Australia. Scegli l'hotel come si trova in una posizione decente ( 5 minuti a piedi da Circ Quay, più facile per Rocks, Darling, zona centrale per Hyde Park ecc), un costo ragionevole e il fatto che hanno consentito l'arrivo precoce nella tua camera prenotata - la disponibilità. Siamo arrivati alle 7:00 dopo un volo di 26 ore - e la nostra stanza (7° piano) era disponibile - ci permetteva di prendere qualche ora di pollo. Non ci siamo resi conto che ha trascurato la Piazza Australia, che è vivace e alto Mon - Fri.. Non un problema nella prima notte, perché siamo così stanchi. Il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto se potessimo essere trasferiti, non un problema, siamo stati trasferiti in una stanza più tranquilla (quattordicesimo piano) e aggiornati a nessun costo aggiuntivo. La stanza era bella - come erano il colazione ogni mattina. Non posso incolpare la qualità dell'hotel, la pulizia, l'amicizia e la disponibilità a aiutare il personale. Volevo tornare? Maggiore assoluta. 😁

È un'analisi modificata per sottolineare la mancanza di comunicazione da parte dell'hotel, e è giusto dire che l'hotel ha avuto delle cose grandi che andavano avanti, ma purtroppo il supporto al cliente non è uno di loro. La colazione era eccellente e il topo del tetto era un posto per godere di un cocktail e vedere un spettacolo di sole, ma tutto è stato lasciato in sostanza da un sostegno estremamente insufficiente dalla direzione. Mia moglie ha perso i suoi occhiali all'hotel, che sono distinti in un quadro di design e sono in una scatola d'oro brillante. Durante il controllo, abbiamo chiesto al dipartimento se fossero stati trovati e se fossero stati detto che non erano stati consegnati, ma che la ricezione sarebbe stata controllata con il bar Aster, dove crediamo fossero stati lasciati ma era stato chiuso al momento del controllo. Eravamo destinati a essere a Sydney in 4 giorni e il ricevitore ha preso tutti i dettagli e una descrizione dei bicchieri e del caso e ha detto che mi avrebbe mandato un email per darmi un aggiornamento. Quattro giorni dopo, quando siamo tornati a Sydney, abbiamo controllato l'hotel non c'era alcuna nota contro la nostra prenotazione e il receptionista ha detto che non si poteva fare nulla, ma non poteva confermare se un controllo fosse stato fatto nel bar di tetto di Aster. Ho chiesto di parlare con il direttore del servizio e una signora irlandese, il cui nome purtroppo non mi è stato dato, è venuta a parlarmi. Era molto scusata e disse che non era il normale standard che si aspettava dall'hotel e promise di parlare con il personale di Aster e di tornare a me per posta elettronica prima della fine della giornata. Purtroppo non si è proceduto a nessuna ulteriore comunicazione e non è stata risolta alcuna risposta. Sappiamo che la perdita è stata colpa nostra, ma la mancanza di interesse da parte del personale e la mancanza di promesse vuote e vuote da parte della direzione ci dissuaderebbero di rimanere ancora lì. Sembra che la gestione non abbia alcun interesse a promuovere la soddisfazione dei clienti.

Twin was very spacious. Travelling for work and was economical to share, including breakfast. Excellent sized room, decent in-room dining options and quality. Beyond expectations for a la carte breakfast, really smooth coffee. Gym was very well equipped, with light refreshments and storage available. Staff helpful, jovial, patient and friendly. Lovely, heritage building close to light rail and either end of Sydney CBD.

Service was disappointing, we stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The first day, we got an issue with using the safe, called reception a few times, and nobody answered the calls, we had to go down the reception and ask their staff for help. The second day, we went back to the hotel around 5pm and found that the room hadn't been cleaned, called the reception again and again. Nobody picked up the phone, eventually we met the cleaner at eh corridor and asked her to do housekeeping. Overall, the location is great, walking distance to main attractions and near light rail stations and Wynard train station. The Japanese restaurant next door services tasty ramen and bento with reasonable prices.

The location is very convenient. One can walk to nearby attractions and the Museum station for transit to and from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and allowed me to check in early and check out one hour late. However, the WIFI is a bit slow and I didn’t get the connection for my computer unless I put it next to the microwave oven near the door, making it a bit inconvenient for me to do my work or conduct online meetings. The breakfast choices were the same during the whole time of my stay. I’m glad that I only stayed for 3 nights.

They have accessible room which is great for elderly, toilet is much bigger and the room too Location was really good with a train station right across, small swimming pool, breakfast was decent and not included, check in only one person working at the desk so a bit slow. The only downside is for every room service your order they charge tray fee and this was not explained from the start. First time to encounter this in hotel. So make sure you know what you want to order and only order once. If you forgot to order say drinks and order it after a separate tray charge will be charged on top of the bill for the food /drink

Recentemente sono rimasto al Novotel Sydney sul Darling Harbour e ho trovato l'esperienza soddisfacente. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, ma la decorazione era un po' datata e poteva beneficiare della modernizzazione. La selezione del colazione, pur adeguata, mancava varietà per diversi giorni. In generale, il soggiorno soddisfava le aspettative di base senza alcuna questione significativa.
