Hotel Novotel a Sydney

La posizione era perfetta, soprattutto con la luce di ferro proprio sotto l'edificio. Abbiamo anche avuto un pranzo fantastico al bar la nostra ultima notte - amava il vagyu carni hamburger e pesci n chips. Anche se le camere sembravano un po' date, abbiamo ancora un soggiorno confortevole.

A beautiful treat to myself, I've wanted to stay here since I was a kid. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch over botany bay and see the planes coming and going across the water. The room was enormous and well appointed. Later checkout time would be appreciated, and longer time frames on the paid parking too after check out.

Ho partecipato a una conferenza nella sala da ballo di Lennox, e è stato più facile rimanere nello stesso hotel. I punti per migliorare includono: nessun specchio completo lungo nella stanza (solo lo specchio della camera da bagno sopra il bacino), la testa del doccia era circa un centimetro sopra la mia testa (sono 158cm), lo schermo del doccia era troppo piccolo per fermare l'acqua esplodere sul pavimento mentre si docciava , la struttura insolita della stanza significava passare attraverso un piccolo divario tra parete e angolo del letto per raggiungere il bagno, e pavimento non vuoto, nonostante mettere il segno per la pulizia della stanza. Il divano presso la reception era grande e utile, purtroppo aveva qualche piccolo macchiatura. Anche se l'hotel è adeguato, più attenzione ai dettagli potrebbe aiutare a migliorare l'esperienza del cliente.

The hotel is located within minutes from the airport which makes it very convenient for us. Room size was decent but the shower area seem a bit worn out. Not many choices of eateries within 5-10 mins of walking. There is a Woolworths about 15-20 mins of walk and some eateries near there.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park as it was most conveniently located to the hospital that my son needed to attend at Strathfield. The check in process was quite smooth and whilst the parking was limited at times, it was adequate. We booked 2 rooms. The corner room was nice and large, and had a great outlook, however, when we arrived, there was a service person doing electrical testing in the kitchen. He had headphones on and was obviously listening to something that made him unable to hear that we had come in. After a minute or so, he finally realised that we were there. He left dust and residue on the kitchen bench so I had to clean up afterwards. The other room that we booked was a standard twin room and much smaller. Unfortunately there was used milk left in the fridge. The interior furnishings of the rooms are looking a little dated now and could do with some upgrading. We dined in the restaurant for one breakfast and one dinner. Unfortunately, the chef on breakfast obviously didn't understand what dairy and gluten free means as we ordered dairy free scrambled eggs with gluten free toast. A beautiful, large plate of toast, eggs and hash browns was brought out by the waitress. I questioned whether the hash browns were gluten free as they are not in the other Accor Hotels that we stay at regularly. Shortly after, then chef came out to collect the hash browns as she confirmed that they were not gluten free. I then had a feeling that something was not right with the eggs. Sure enough, when I questioned it again, she had put cream in the eggs! It could have completely ruined our trip and it left me very reluctant to dine there again. There was noise from night activities and events in the area but that all subsided at a reasonable hour so our sleep was not disturbed too much. Great location near Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Monster Skate Park, Train station. I was a little disappointed with the lack of variety of restaurants in the area. The parking was $44 per 24 hour period for Accor Plus members and it was convenient to be able to come and go under the one fee. We would stay again if we needed to be in the area but I would be very cautious again about dining in the restaurant due to our allergies.

It was a pleasant stay with great amenities, convenient location and impeccable service and hospitality. However, our room had dirty sheets stained with feces. TV was not able to work the netflix and casting option but reception tried to assist to the best of their knowledge. It was honestly a good place to stay at regardless, worth the $ .
